I'm with you. Our forecast high for Saturday is 56. Seeing some color on the mountains. The popular trees in our yard are losing their leaves. Seeing more wildlife. Great time of the year.

Wow You guys are really busy posting!!!!! Four or five pages since my last post......gotta love this forum!

Kandice is home from school today....a cold has been bugging since last Thursday...not really coming out....after coughing at night for 2 hours and a headache in the morning I allowed her to stay at home.....since it is a public holiday on Friday.....I let her stay home tomorrow as well....so she has 5 days to rest and recover....either it will really come out....or it will just go away.

Awe! I hope she feels better soon!!!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a decent day here to welcome in October with a high in the low 70's. I have a few errands to run but I will probably put them off until this afternoon when I am on my way to the pines. I'll just concentrate on my daily chores this morning. DS was his normal self when I dropped him off. He was very upset - he wanted to come back home with me, but he's fine the minute I leave.

I did have fun - I got some more stocking stuffers! :grin:

So scary! I still haven't heard from my friend if he was working that shift in the hospital when the Ebola patient came in. He is a registered nurse in that hospital's emergency room. They even have the ambulance that the patient arrived in quarantined. The paramedics are being watched closely.

That sure is scary! Praying that you hear from him soon and hoping he didn't come into contact with the patient.
