I so agree with you. I'm a bit older than you and haven't a clue as to what some things stand for and frankly, I don't want to know, either. However, when I talk to my younger cousins and their friends, they tend to talk in text and I ask what things mean that I don't understand. They laugh it off when I don't approve of what they are saying, but to them it is standard speak. Even their parents haven't a clue as to what they are saying. So very sad!

My nieces & nephews clue me into "meanings" at times, too. Such a different time! Very disappointing.

Lots to do today. It was nice to spend the morning here, though. Not sure when I will be able to get back on as it looks to be rather a busier week than I expected. Hopefully I will be able to fit a few MMC moments in every day!

Hey yall! Hope everyone is doing great! It was a busy couple of days here...Friday was just pure chaos.

But yesterday we went shopping and we sure did have fun! Bought my first Hallmark ornament, we went and looked at Christmas decorations. They are starting to pop up everywhere! It was great. Bambina doesn't know what they are, but they did bring a smile to her face. It was great. We all had such a good time. We came home and little girl passed out while playing on top of me in my chair. We had a nice, long nap and followed up it with coffee (for me, not her). Perfect fall day.

Today is going to include a lot of football, some chili, and some work. Temps are in the 40's, but we are on our way back to the 80's today. Going to stay warm for the next 10 days, then it will cool back off. I love the cool mornings.

Someone asked me how you could call each other that. You might want to check out the def. on Urban dictionary. People thinking of joining in here might be a bit confused by those posts as that person was.

That's disturbing and disgusting. Not at all what we mean. There are many different synonyms for things.

It was a nickname made gave me because I review his writing, and I too bounce ideas off of him. We were joking that I needed an official title, so it stands for "Material Review Board"

Snowflake addressed the subject nicely and I shouldn't say anything but here is goes.

Anyone who thought that either of us would be that disrespectful obviously doesn't know us or pay attention to how we handle ourselves on here. We have ignored the rude comments made in the past about our friendship and have always tried to go out of the way to be nice to everyone. We have taken the high road on more than one occasion instead of being petty. So if they thought that's what we were actually saying, then they should have said something to us and not gone around talking behind our backs. While we may not have told them what it exactly meant, we would have let them know that it wasn't anything bad. Just a little inside thing between the two of us, like we have told everyone who has asked.

That's my final and only comment about the subject.

After a crappy day yesterday, I am trying to get myself motivated to do some studying. I didn't do anything I had in mind yesterday so I have a pile of work for today. (I am such a moody person it makes me sick. I have some things in mind to help me to deal with it so I will see what I can do about them.)
Anyway, I do hope you all are doing much better. Sending my best wishes your way.

Thank you, snowflake! I forgot my coupons for Hallmark so was a bit bummed about that, but otherwise is was nice to browse. I did buy the ceramic cardinal ornament I wanted. There were a few others I was interested in, but I have to stick to my budget. There is an entire Goodwill Christmas store a few towns away I would like to go to in a week or so and this coming Saturday the Mission store is putting out Christmas items. I find a lot of vintage ornaments at those places and those are the kinds I prefer. Entire boxes of Shiny Brite ornaments for a quarter cannot be beat!

I thought I was going to have time to read some post but looking at the clock I need to get busy getting ready for the day!

Snow-in-Texas and I spent the day yesterday going to various stores looking at Halloween and Christmas goodies. I posted pictures in the Christmas Blossoms and the Halloween one as well.

Xmas365, be sure to show your son the giant nutcracker I posted in the Christmas Blossoms thread. He is standing next to a 14 ft Christmas Tree and almost as tall as it!

Homemakingirl, just scrolled up to see a very cute little kitty!!! Adorable!!!
