I hope they will dust off some of those old specials you never see anymore.

Another year without Harry Potter would be great also. cheesy

It's easy programming---a string of very long movies lets the personnel take a break.

I also received an email from oldies.com, they are having a great sale, lots of Christmas DVD's. I picked up 3 of them for a total of $11.94. I couldn't turn down that deal.
I got "Pete's Christmas"
"Happy Holidays With Bing And Frank"
"Christmas From Hollywood"

"Happy Holidays with Bing and Frank" is interesting! It's a formerly lost Christmas show that was found and restored. The DVD includes a good panel discussion with some of Bing's and Frank's family members that was taped at the Museum of Broadcasting when the show was debuted after the restoration. They discuss how Bing and Frank worked differently, and they butted heads over a few things.

Good evening,

I really should be in bed and snoring by now, I had one heck of a day at work.
I was running on adrenaline for most of the day, I was a human tornado and kept everyone outta my way. cheesy My first turkey delivery was anticipated within the next 24 hours, 23 pallets of those heavy birds so I had to be sure everything was ready, plus the usual customer service, and my prepping.
We went out to do some errands after work, we didn't get home until 930ish.
So I have a very well earned day off tomorrow.

Goodnight, my Christmas friends.

Sounds like you did get some great deals there! Hope you enjoy them!

Remember, that's Celsius, not Fahrenheit---but it's still chilly for October!

We had a frost advisory here last night, too, but I don't think we got the frost.

Yes, I know- thanks ;)

We had 28 degrees the other morning when we went for a hike. Ended up reaching 58 degrees by the end of the day [emoji295]️[emoji262]

Good morning, Snowflake! Beautiful picture! Hope you're having a great day!

Good Morning, Everyone.

Rise, shine and gaze in awe upon the count and all that it tells us in so few words:
Days to the Season: 33
Days to Christmas Day: 75

And today's lesson is that, as of TOMORROW, we will be precisely (and I do mean precisely) ONE MONTH away from Christmas Season 2014.
(A lesson well learned, my Friends.)

Warm yesterday but with the predicted rain. Drier today, hopefully, with continued moderate temps and low humidity.
Currently? Well, we are standing just below 59 degrees here at this hour to start the Weekend Part ll.

Have a Super Sunday, Folks.
And be sure and get yourselves all NFL'ed!

So exciting, Crown! I can't wait - one month!

Hope you have a great Sunday, as well!

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

We just got back from church, meeting our new pastor. He was really nervous, but I think he'll be good once he gets used to all the new faces. We're having a fish fry Thursday night as a meet-&-greet the new preacher, so that should help.

It was a busy Saturday with all the dance and play practice. Count: the Legend of Dracula starts next weekend, so it's crunch week. The girls did a preview dance at the open-air farmer's market yesterday, and it looks great!

We're going back for more play practice today at 1pm, so we have to eat quickly.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Happy Sunday to you all! Hope it's fun, relaxing, whatever you want it to be. For those of you who have tomorrow off---enjoy! And for those north of here---Happy Thanksgiving!

Yesterday was pretty crummy weather-wise, but today October is showing off all her colors again. We're supposed to get a little summer-like weather this week, but that should be the last of it with the second half of October on the way.

Good morning, Brad!
Hope your new Pastor gets acclimated quickly, and feels welcomed. That's a very nice idea to do the fish fry to get acquainted.
Hope Elizabeth has a wonderful time performing in Count: The Legend Of Dracula! Sounds like a fun one to be a part of!
Have a nice Sunday!

Amazing. Seeing the count go down, starting at 100...then moving into the 70's...hitting the 50's....just seems like all goes so fast. One month until the season? I'm about to start enjoying every single bit of it.

Yesterday, we had to make a run and get a few things. We ended up staying gone for a few hours, but we listened to Christmas music the whole time. I'm so happy my wife enjoys it as much as I do. We already picked out Christmas Tree Day.....

Nov. 1st

It'll be here before we know it!

Good morning!
I just realized I have off tomorrow for Columbus Day. Three day weekend, yay! Not too much going on here today. The girls all have off from work which is really nice. I'm looking forward to everyone being able to sit down and have dinner together, I'm going to make lasagna for them today. And I think I might run to Party City later to look at the Halloween costumes, I have to find something to wear to the preschool. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores and doing a couple more of those online courses. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Good morning, HMG! That's really nice you have a 3 day weekend - enjoy! You deserve it! Have a great day with the girls too!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's supposed to be another beautiful day here with a high in the low 60's and sunny. Then we are supposed to see some heavy storms the next couple of days. Boo!! It's going to be another lazy day here. Just planning on laying around and watching some tv. I'm sure I will spend plenty of time on here too. Hoping to finally get that nap in to. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, friend! Sounds like a great day! Stay safe when those storms come. Enjoy your day - it sounds wonderful! You totally deserve it! Hope you can get your nap in!

Good morning, everyone!

Sunday has arrived. Despite Thanksgiving Day being on a Monday, most of us up here celebrate everything on the Sunday. It is just so much easier to use Monday for travel purposes. Tonight, I am ready for all the fixings! A few plates full of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing/dressing, beans, and many other delicious foods along with some pumpkin pie will be delicious! As I have always said, I like our date for Thanksgiving because it allows me to dedicate more time to Christmas, but I like the whole American festivities with it landing on a Thursday. It's always nice to have one last holiday as you head into the sprint to Christmas Day. I guess we're all lucky - in North America - to have such a day.

Well, we're heading out to the apple orchard shortly to grab some fresh apples and possibly a few homemade crafts, apple cider and apple cider donuts. Mmmmmm! In previous years, they have also had some beautiful Christmas stuff out. I hope it is the same this year. I'll be sure to have my phone/camera handy.

Highs to reach about 13c/55f today. Sun all day, too. Not bad for the middle of October, and yet another Thanksgiving Day. Oh, and, of course, I'm ready for some football, too! As soon as the Packers game is over, I'll head over to Kim's sisters to begin the festivities. The Packers come first!

Have a great Sunday, everyone! May you continue to enjoy your long weekend!

Enjoy your day - it sounds like so much! Again, Happy Thanksgiving you, Kim, and your families! Enjoy the food - it sounds so yummy!

Good Sunday morning!

I hope this finds everyone well!

Busy day yesterday. Went to the Christmas sale at the Mission store and did not find a lot of goodies. The best part of the trip was catching up with all the regulars. We used to meet almost every Tuesday morning and now that I only go the occasional Saturday once a month I rarely see them. I think it was meant to be that I went yesterday as one of the ladies needs prayers and I never would have found out about it if I hadn't gone.

Wow, look at the time. I need to start getting ready for work. The sun is shining so it will be a great day!!!

Be MERRY, my dear friends!!!

Glad you got to see your friends!!!! Keeping the one in my thoughts and prayers. Hope you have a great day working!!!
