Christmas Countdown - 2014

Spent time today working on competition cake, so much to do on it.
Tomorrow I want to work on it most of the day since everything is closed anyway for Thanksgiving. So far there is about 20 hours of work in this and I am still on the bottom layer! I did position second layer because I need it in place before I can finish the bottom one. I have multicolored fingers from the food coloring.

Can't show you any pictures until after competition is judged, I read through all the rules and it is not allowed to post pictures anywhere on line until then.

My brother replaced the right wheel bearing on the van yesterday. On the way to his place got a flat tire. I had left my phone at home!! Took 5 tried before I could get someone to stop so I could call CAA. Then the tow truck driver could not get my spare tire to release from under the back of the van, so he towed me to my bothers place. That was when it was discovered I need two new tires. :-o
The family thanksgiving party was great so that made up for all the problems. I am so blessed to have a brother that looks after a lot of my van repairs for me.

A tie!!!? I hate ties, I can't believe the Bengals and Panthers tied, that just leaves a game with no closure.
We went and saw "The Maze Runner" not my cup of tea, my wife liked it. She went and saw the last Transformers movie with me so I think we are even now. cheesy

I agree!!!! That is one rule that needs to be changed!!!!!

It was fantastic & awesome!! We had great Fall weather! We did the haunted Door County trolley tour, visited a winery, went pumpkin bowling, visited historic homes & museums, lighthouses, took a ferry to an island, went biking & explored, ate a lot of good food, shopped, etc. Such a beautiful place.
