There are a few things I need to do for the store tonight yet and if I can stop yawning, I might do a bit of organizing in the kitchen, too. If that wakes me up, I'll start reading the Stephen King book I picked out from my TBR pile. Words cannot express how happy I am to finally have finished reading the Twilight series. I may not have liked the books, but at least I have figured out something nice to say about them should my friend ask me. Yay!!!

Good evening, friends! Hope y'all are doing great. Just been checking over the 25 Days of Christmas Schedule for the past hour and figuring out what nights I want to do basketball duty and what nights I don't. There are some perks...ya know?



Hope everyone stayed out of the way of the storms! They came from here like a bull in a china shop. The wind picked up, hard rain, a little bit of hail....it was tense for about 10 minutes. All good, though!

I am very curious about the Seth MacFarlane CD, is it serious or "Family Guy" funny.

It's actually serious. Seth 's a fantastic singer and released an album before. Does take a while to get used to. You do keep waiting for the comedy lol.

I am really disappointed in the Countdown to the 25 Days, especially with the inclusion of The Hunger Games as "family" fare. It was on the last three nights (Fri, Sat, Sun) and my wife watched it each night. I find it quite disturbing that they would introduce a bloody dystopian view of the future as a way to celebrate the beginning of the Holiday season. Family my foot.

I'm feeling much better today!

Yesterday evening I played nurse to my father. Unfortunately he caught the same bug I have. :-(

We are also prepare the diamond wedding anniversary of my grand parents, which will be this sunday. It'll great to see all the relatives again, specially the youngest one. She's just a month old.

Is it first initial of my first name? If yes it would be Cookie McChilly. If its the first initial of my last name it would be Hope McChilly. I think I like Cookie McChilly better.

MERRY dreams!!!

I learned the hard way to put away every book that is not interesting to me. No matter how popular they are. Therefore I'm proud to say, that I never read Twilight, Harry Potter or Lord of the rings. Those are just not my style.

But I guess it's good if you are able to say something nice about it.

At the moment I'm reading lots of history books. The topic nowadays is the king and queens of Great Britain (Tudors ect.).
