what´s Christmas Gang!!!!! Good news on two fronts......first.....I am invited to a job interview...of course it´s just an interview.....still a much better feeling to open the letter an read that instead of.....thank You for Your application...unfortunately we have decided to take another person instead.......lol....cross Your fingers...maybe I´m lucky and get the job.
2nd.: We have a new furry family member....he´s a black boycat named Spike......at the moment Stripey and Spike are busy hissing and he is hiding behind the couch........he ate tho and used his litter box....instead of the floor....lol....which he did at his former home

Merry Monday!

Hope you all had a good weekend.

They were setting up the christmas decorations and trees up at work yesterday. They are not lit yet but probably very soon! It was amazing to see the trees up.

I have a really busy week ahead but I can look forward to all weekend off as I am not in work on Sunday. I am looking forward to it!

Thank you ! Yes we are definitely going to do something but not decided just yet. We will probably have lunch at the new American BBQ place I mentioned and maybe drive out to the country or lakes. Some Halloween baking, movies and whatever else we come up with. Should be good!

Good Morning, New Weekers!

And with a new week, we must get a new count update, right?
Not only that, but I do believe it's time to add a new line.
So here we go:
Days to Halloween: 11
Days to the Season: 24
Days to Christmas Day: 66

And we now discover that we are UNDER 3 1/2 weeks away from the start of
Christmas Season 2014.
(Can we really be getting that close??)


Well, as predicted, we took a chillier turn yesterday but it wasn't too bad with calm winds and plenty of sun.
Could be in for a cool (although not cold) spell for the week.
Right now, we are settled in at 45 degrees here.

How bout them Cowboys!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe they are doing so good. All though they are my favorite team, I still picked them to win their division. After all, they went undefeated in the NFC East last year. I never expected them to do this outside of their division, though. It has been fun. Here's to hoping we win more than 8 games!

Oh Coach! You would not believe how happy I have been about the Cowboys! I live in Dallas and even got to go to games when Landry was the coach and Jimmy Johnson. Those were the good ole days of the Cowboys having lots of good years. It has always been known here, and I am sure this is true for other parts of the USA, anytime the Cowboys play on Sunday the world seems to stop. Most businesses are very slow during game hours. I have worked with the public on a lot of Sundays ever since I was 18 years old up until now and we are VERY SLOW during game day. Well, within the past several years people were losing interest in the Boys and business was picking up like crazy over the past 2 years on Sunday during the game. I started getting lots of customers coming in wearing their Cowboys jerseys and I would tease with them how come they are not home watching the game. Their joking response, "What game"?! They would just get out and about during the game because they lost interest. Very sad! Guess what?! This year and the past few Sundays on game day, it is like a ghost town again. (Not good for business but good for the Cowboys!) What a great feeling! We are back!!!! I am not trying to get too confidant because it's early in the season but just feel happy the Boys are doing well again. I never gave up!!! Always a proud Cowboys fan!

I have been happy for my son-in-law for his love of the Patriots and Wayne for his love of the Ravens when they did well and won the Super Bowl. I told them both the other day, "It's my turn"!

Let's just hope they keep up the streak!

We put our tree up in less than two weeks! Any tips for how to keep a one year old away from it?

I was thinking the same!!!! So exciting!!!!!!!! :???:
Unless someone has mentioned it already, I have seen baby gates put up around a tree.

I didn't get too far on here because I got to go! Say a prayer for Snow-in-Texas. He is going in for a minor medical procedure this morning but will not be at the hospital where the Ebola patients have been like we first thought, instead, just right down the street. I am sure the hospital in general is safe but we would rather wait until they clear all of this up first just in case!

I will try to catch up later!
