Star! Sounds like we're watching the same Channel!!! The grinch was on earlier too on lifetime

I thought about watching those, too! Instead, I think I will wait and watch them on Blu-Ray later. Still, there is something very tempting to watch any Christmas movie on TV, even if you own them!

I enjoyed watching them both! Sadly the Christmas movies are done for today.

Anyone going to watch Nik Wallenda tight walk between the buildings in Chicago on discovery channel tonight? I guess he is doing 2 walks. One is going to be up hill between 2 buildings and then he is going to walk between 2 more blindfolded. That one should be scary to watch!!

Yesterday, I took a few photos of the National War Memorial on the way back from my visit to the Rideau Centre. It was great to see such support and memoirs for Cpl Nathan Cirillo. There is now more people stopping, paying their respects, and visiting the monument than I have ever seen.

Oh! As a new found University student.. I have noticed I am beginning to start a habit I NEVER thought would happen...

I have started dabbling in the art of drinking coffee............... I now understand why people drink it often. LOL....

I've never drank a cup of coffee. Somehow, I've managed to get by on drinking about 4-6 litres of water per day. I guess I am one of the strange ones?

Full disclosure: it was a frozen chicken pie, and the gingerbread was made from a mix. But oh! they were both good! I baked the gingerbread in muffin tins and ate one warm with a couple dabs of Reddi Whip. Mmmmm, it was wonderful!

Staying home today, have to finish sewing the curtains for LittleCS's bedroom and work on the cake.

It is my favorite sons birthday today. Hard to believe he is 27 already, my baby!!!

Good morning!
It's going to be windy today with temperatures in the 40's. The house was chilly this morning, I had to turn up all of the thermostats.
Everyone's still sleeping here, I'm having my pumpkin spice coffee and enjoying the peace.
I feel like I'm getting sick again. It's crazy, I just got over a cold a couple of weeks ago. This will be the third time I'm sick since I started the preschool job in September. So many germs in that place. The good thing is I'm now down to Tuesdays & Thursdays so I get to stay in and rest tomorrow!
Anyway, I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Our tree is up! Not decorated yet but it's up! We put it up last night. (It still needs a little straightening out.)

When we dragged the tree out of the box and set it up Snow-in-Texas kept saying the tree looks really bad (and it did), he said we really need a new one. It was so tempting to run out a get a new one but as Linus would say, "Maybe it just needs a little love". So we straightened all the branches out, put the lights on and it started looking better. Now I took this picture this morning and seeing some gaps that need to be straightened out - I think the cats played a bit in it! Ha ha!!! One of my cats climbs in this tree all the time. I bought it from Hobby Lobby over 15 years ago and it's held up to the cats abuse! :lol:

The angel on top of the tree turned 27 years old this year! I just love her! =)

Christmas Tree Night turned into Christmas Tree Weekend. LOL. All good, though. We sit down to eat supper about 1/2 through and then fed the baby. Someone....I not going to say any names (Doc) fell a sleep while I gave the little one some supper. So we finished up today around 2:00.

Let me tell ya, when Bambina saw the Christmas lights, she was amazed. She laughed, squealed, and just loved every second of it. It was magical. We put a baby gate up around it and she will just stand there and look at it. It's awesome.

Next weekend, I will decorate the inside of the house and then lights the weekend after that. I've got my Christmas workshop set up in the garage and we are in full swing. I love it!

I have a problem...I can't post to Blossoms thread because my files are too large. Can someone help?

Yeah!!! we get to go to Bronners tomorrow!!!!

In this house you get to pick where to go and what to eat on your birthday and Ray picked Bronners and dinner at Big Boy. We also will be going to the hall of mirrors in Frankenmuth while there.

Going to be a great day !

How Is everyone?? Hope the last few months have been treating you well!
I have been pretty good! about 2 months into my 6 month program at university to become a care-aide. We start our practicum next month, but this week we go into facilities and aid with breakfast! woohoo!
I have decided that in the end, my ultimate career goal is to be an Emergency Room RN. I will have to upgrade many of my High school level courses to do so, but I will work as a care-aide during that time...
