Good morning, everyone!

It's a Monday off for me. Not entirely happy, but that's how it goes! I am hopeful that this morning off will give me the opportunity to drive to Passport and ensure that my final timesheets have been submitted. They still owe me about $2000+ in pay - not including my final paycheck. They really messed up, somehow. I've been struggling to pay bills for the past month and a half because of it.

It's a beautiful sunny morning in Ottawa. Chilly, too! We're only to reach a high of around 7c today (lower to mid 40s). Brrr! November is here.

I am usually great with realizing certain specifics about dates, but I did not notice that this is the final full week before the beginning of the Christmas Season. Wow! Thanks for pointing that out, Crown. I should have realized it last night while Kim and I were planning our calendar on the refrigerator and said that we would begin decorating for Christmas on Friday, November 14. What an exciting night that will be!

Despite being off, I think today should be somewhat of a busy day. Have a great Monday, everyone! Hope your workweek starts off on the right foot!

Good Morning!

Yesterday was a busy one! Took the kids to church then I went to work. We were very busy at work yesterday! Afterward, Wayne, my son and I went out for dinner to celebrate Wayne's birthday early.

Just sitting here drinking coffee, listening to Sounds of the Season with the tree lit up and my dogs and kitties sitting with me on the couch.

I have another busy day ahead, need to get caught up around the house and decorate the tree! :dance:

As my plans for today, they are just doing some laundry, vacuuming, and figuring out something for dinner. I'll probably throw something in the crockpot. DH and I both have to work the next two nights, so my sister will be here, so it's always an adventure to figure out dinner! cheesy

I'll be spending part of the day cleaning up after having my niece's here yesterday. Then I'll be doing my normal job hunting and working on some stuff online. Merry Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend!

Yesterday at work the Christmas trees were all lit and decorated. It is a big week for the city the official switch on of the Christmas lights takes place on Friday!! it marks the beginning of the season and that is fine by me. Many of the shop windows have switched to Christmas and it all looks wonderful!

School resumes tomorrow so we are making the most of today. My youngest is watching his shows at the moment but I will be switching to Christmas24 soon lol!
