Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good evening everyone!
It's been a long day because I have had a field trip to Edinburgh Zoo with my fellow coursemates.
Since I have my own view on zoos, it doesn't make me a fan of these places.
I do get the point of where they come from (conservation, education, etc.), but I hope I will never again be forced to go to any zoo.
We got to see pandas though (a lot of people don't get to see them because the animals are very shy and stay away from people they don't know most of the time).
It's only 9pm here and I can barely see my laptop screen. Quite tired from all the walking around the zoo and the information received. I might go to bed soon.
Just wanted to jump in for a quick 'hi', and hope you all are doing well.

I do not like zoo either, feel to sorry for the animals. They are however responsible for saving a lot of them and so do have a good use. But like you, I do not enjoy going.

Finally home from mom's doctor's appointment. What we thought was going to be a 15 to 20 minute appointment, ended up being almost 3 hours for him to give her a memory test. Oh the fun!! At least I didn't hit much traffic coming home through the country.

Need to get a few things done around here and then I will be back to catch up!!!

We don't get to find out the results of the actual test. They get forwarded straight to the Disability Determination officer in charge of her case. We will just get a letter from them eventually saying if are going to approve her or not. Hopefully we get that in the next month but it could be longer. The Doctor they sent her to on Saturday told her that she would mark down that she is but this guy would only tell her that she did about how he expected her to do.


I didn't get everything done but I am back!! I'll work on the rest of it in the morning.

home again, enjoying catching up here and relaxing. Have to pick up #1 daughter from work at 11 because her ebike battery died.

Busy, productive day here. I had my yearly physical this morning, I am well. My Dr did start me on a new anxiety med, because I have felt stressed, and on the edge for the last month or so. I feel my body is less tense tonight after taking it, the test will be tomorrow at work. Anxiety sucks!

I took down all the Halloween decor today, have a lot of Harvest still up for Thanksgiving, but that will get less and less after I break out the Christmas stuff and decorate. My Holiday Light staples came in today, so now I am ready to go all Griswold in the house.

I did my civic duty and voted, I really had a tough time deciding on 3 of the 4 ballot questions and didn't decide until I was in the voting booth.

Tonight I took JP to his Scout meeting, and finally ate dinner at 830 tonight.

Did some more work on my Christmas MP3's also tonight.

I thought today was supposed to be a day off. cheesy

and listened to a ton of Christmas music on Music Choice
