Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good evening,





Busy, productive day here. I had my yearly physical this morning, I am well. My Dr did start me on a new anxiety med, because I have felt stressed, and on the edge for the last month or so. I feel my body is less tense tonight after taking it, the test will be tomorrow at work. Anxiety sucks!



I took down all the Halloween decor today, have a lot of Harvest still up for Thanksgiving, but that will get less and less after I break out the Christmas stuff and decorate. My Holiday Light staples came in today, so now I am ready to go all Griswold in the house.



I did my civic duty and voted, I really had a tough time deciding on 3 of the 4 ballot questions and didn't decide until I was in the voting booth.



Tonight I took JP to his Scout meeting, and finally ate dinner at 830 tonight.



Did some more work on my Christmas MP3's also tonight.



I thought today was supposed to be a day off. cheesy



and listened to a ton of Christmas music on Music Choice

I keep getting sick from the preschool but I'm hanging in there. I've never been exposed to so many germs. I guess I'll get use to it eventually. I hope all is well with you!

Still warmer yesterday, as our upward trend continues, boding well for my working trip to the coast which will commence shortly.
We are at a clear 53 degrees here right now.


Sorry I can't be at the 'Pines this evening, as I'm sure Carl will have plenty to get excited over as usual.
Now NEXT Wednesday, Season Eve, I KNOW will be B-I-G!

Harlowe is doing much better, thanks.
She still isn't completely herself, but I pray that she will be soon. The good thing is that she's eating & drinking, and getting plenty of rest. I am going to keep a close eye on her habits, and stay in touch with her vet. If she feels I need to bring her in for tests, I will. For now, we are increasing her liver function pills, that we had reduced to once/week. Hope that helps. Thanks again for your prayers [emoji172]

I am scared. We spent thousands of dollars on tests @ 3 1/2 years ago, and they couldn't come up with a specific diagnosis. She spent a night in emergency care, and a week at the vets, and they knew it's a problem surrounding her liver. It was touch and go for weeks after, so every time she has similar symptoms, I am terrified.
It's always a matter of ruling things out, not finding things out, which is frustrating.

[Holiday]

Good evening everyone!
It's been a long day because I have had a field trip to Edinburgh Zoo with my fellow coursemates.
Since I have my own view on zoos, it doesn't make me a fan of these places.
I do get the point of where they come from (conservation, education, etc.), but I hope I will never again be forced to go to any zoo.
We got to see pandas though (a lot of people don't get to see them because the animals are very shy and stay away from people they don't know most of the time).
It's only 9pm here and I can barely see my laptop screen. Quite tired from all the walking around the zoo and the information received. I might go to bed soon.
Just wanted to jump in for a quick 'hi', and hope you all are doing well.

home from meeting, all went well.
Enjoyed a nice late dinner at Swiss Chalet.
home again, enjoying catching up here and relaxing. Have to pick up #1 daughter from work at 11 because her ebike battery died.

Tomorrow going to work on my cake most of the day (I hope) and get some cleaning done.

Hope you have a great day off work today CS!!! Bummer you can't decorate until after Dec. 1, but it will be fine!! Have fun working on your cake!

It is just gold door wrap to make a room more festive looking. I can't find one darn roll of it yet. I went out looking for it today and still zilch.

I hope the meds help! Exciting your house will soon be Griswold style. Lol! When I went to vote after work yesterday I got in & out in a matter of minutes. It was great ~ no waiting! I must have hit it at a good time! Hope your day at work goes well today!
