Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Last night Nancy was with Jacob at his band practice, and Elizabeth got a ride home from dance with a friend's mom, so she and I went out to Subway for a sandwich. I have to say, that cold cut sandwich with plenty of mustard and hot sauce is pretty doggone good!

The Christmas parties are filling up the coming weeks. My work, Nancy's work, church, Sunday school, bible school, Bernie's store, etc., not to mention all the family parties! I'm going to have to start taking 2 cholesterol pills everyday...LOL!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's going to be a little bit warmer today with a high around 40 degree's. We may even see the sun for a little bit!! I don't have much going on this morning but then this afternoon I have to take mom for a blood test and run some errands. I'm also finally going to take my tree to my sister's house and get her stuff down out of the attic. I'm not going to let her back out today either since I'm already going to be out there. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

[Holiday]

Thanksgiving went well Holiday, thank you so much. I almost cried when my husband took the scaffold down because I was so happy, that thing was up for almost two years. The kitchen is the heart of the home as far I'm conerned, it was really hard for me to deal with the construction for that long. So glad it's behind us now.

She's feeling better, thank you. They do that to me all of the time. I threaten to block their numbers, lol.

So glad it went well!! 2 years is a long time! I bet you are SO happy that is behind you!!! But how awesome that he is able to do that himself! xx
I'm pretty sure Mom is glad we never had cell phones when we were all still at home! My Dad would have had a FIT!!! :lol: Too funny!

Oh and Holiday your Christmas trees look absolutely beautiful!!!

I wish you could see it! What video format does Norway use? (For example, the U.S. and Canada are Region 1 and use NTSC format; Europe is a different region and uses PAL format.) Maybe it's available there!

It's almost 5am and I'm just getting back to the office after working an all night shift (actually a double; 16 hours), field surveying existing conditions at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington DC...

Ok, I can say now, that I'm tired. Going to drive home now, take a shower, grab some dinner/ breakfast and see if I can get myself straightened out with this sleep schedule.

My grandmother loved him, and we used to watch his performances together [emoji173]️

I'm not a big opera fan, but the performances by Pavarotti, the two choirs, and the orchestra are really awesome. Parts of it nearly brought tears to my eyes---it's mostly sacred music and very beautiful.

I've started my wrapping, need to get it finished next week, i'll have to buy a couple of bottles of bucks fizz to keep me company whilst I wrap For those that don't know what bucks fizz is, it's sparkling wine and pure orange juice, it's gorgeous!

Bucks fizz sounds divine---like Orangina with a kick! I've never seen it here in the States.

Good morning MMC! I'm trying to get caught up, but I keep getting interrupted, so I'm going to jump in & say GOOD MORNING! Happy Hump/Pines Day!!!!!

We had a good time at Mom/Dads last night. Popcorn was delish. House is decorated. We watched "A Chance of Snow" ~ shortly after the movie started my niece came over with her 2 little boys, so we missed a chunk of the movie. But they are so blasted cute!!! Ornery! They CRACK me up! Love them!

MADE - you are going to have to do something about the forecasted rain in Indiana Friday ~ 90% chance of rain?? That will put a damper on our Brown County experience! See what you can do!

Hey everyone! Hope y'all are doing great! We have been having a blast here. Christmas is in full swing and there are a few present under the tree. We are hoping to go on a big shopping trip this weekend, but we still are looking for a sitter. I say we just take the little one with us, but Doc says no way.

We actually bought an Elf on the Shelf and we are just putting her throughout the house and letting Bambina see her throughout the house. We are taking pictures and making sure to get her in there. We haven't name, yet. I keep coming up with funny names and Doc is just rolling her eyes at me.

We are watching the Toy Story that is on TV. Anyone else? It is really funny!

I'm off to go play with the family. See y'all!

Sounds like fun times!! Hope you can find a sitter. When we were out on Black Friday my friend looks at me & says "people who drag their kids out in this are NUTS!" :lol: Good luck!
