Beautiful! I am having a lazy Saturday! Watching Hallmark. .so happy they are playing the movies through New Years. I am getting ready to fold some laundry and do some grocery shopping. My hubby and I may go out for an early dinner.

It is in the 50s today here in CT..crazy!

Hope you all have a great day!

Sounds like a wonderful day so far, SnowflakeMom!

I'm glad they're continuing with the Christmas movies, too [emoji319] Easier to keep the post Christmas blues at bay!

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!

Surprisingly, I still feel festive! In past years I usually felt letdown on December 26th but so far feeling great! It helps to have a hubby that stays in the Christmas spirit with me. It also helps to have you all here!!! Since our local radio station is still playing Christmas music and a few stations on TV are airing Christmas shows we are listening and watching it all.

I have not had a chance to read through the post but for anyone feeling the "after Christmas blues" I feel for you! Been there, done that - no fun! Hang in there and just know we are here for you at MMC!

Have a wonderful day my Christmas friends! :yahoo:

I didn't really get my "letdown" until today. I was off from work ALL last week and just put all my worries and responsibilities on the back burner to enjoy it all. This morning I felt the blues as I worked on the household accounts, and the responsibilities and concerns are beginning to demand attention again. The coming year is shaping up to be a bit rough on us, and I'm lazy enough that when I go back to work I will miss the carefree leisure I've had this week. It usually gets me down when the rest of the world shakes off its Christmas tinsel, switches off its Christmas lights, and gets back to "normal." Putting away decorations so they can recharge their magic is a downer, too (I won't face that until after New Year's), but this Christmas must pass so we can begin to welcome the next one.

On that note, part of me is already excited about next year. I had fun this year recording Elf Holly Berry and hosting an hour of music for the Santa tracking on Kringle Radio, and have ideas for more music hours next year---and Mr. may even join in. So I will be working on that throughout the year.

I must admit that New Years Eve/Day is a huge letdown for me. I just don't enjoy it a bit and really try so very hard to stay upbeat! Don't get the image that I sit around and cry and be grumpy - just feel a letdown that it is truly all over and the decorations will come down all over town. I am trying and working on not feeling that way! Must push through it!!!

You and I must push together on that.

Good afternoon, MMC!!

Sending merry hugs & cheer to all who need them! Prayers, too [emoji172]

Have a blessed rest of your Saturday!

That first paragraph describes me well! Everyone says, "finally back to normal". Normal? Nooo! I like the carefree feeling of Christmas. cheesy

So happy you have some really cool things to look forward to next year. Just like this Christmas, next Christmas will be great and always looking forward to counting down to 2015 Holiday Season!

Yay!!!

Snow-in-Texas and I have went to the Arboretum 2 days in a row. They have the 12 Days of Christmas set up out there in the gazebos. We are trying to soak up as much Christmas as we can before they take it down. Each gazebo plays Christmas songs. It is quite festive and really puts us in the Holiday Spirit! Yesterday was a short 20 minute walk out there - today we spent a little more time.

We do plan to renew our membership to the Arboretum next year. They have so much to do out there and the scenery constantly changes.

Here are a couple of pictures of the gazebos.

Good afternoon from Winter Wonderland!
My little one (6) is still sick, Im so worried.
He's so thin and weak.
Stomach flu day 5.
Im wondering if it could be something else?
Yesterday he cried and said he was afraid he was going to be sick for the rest of his life.
Poor thing[emoji173]️

So we still have to stay at home and cant have any vistitors..
Not the Christmas I planned, but thats okey.
The most important thing and my biggest wish is that Isak would be well again..

I hope YOU have a Merry Christmas!!!

Poor little guy. Have you had him to the doctors or has the doctor given him anything if so? I would probably get him checked out. Praying for him, Solice!

Merry Morning everyone,

How are you all doing? I am trying to keep Christmas going till New Year :) This morning I could feel that deflated feeling creeping in but I soon pushed that aside. On New Years day though, I will admit that is when the season feels like it is over for us.

I watched The Holiday last night. I love that movie so much. It might very well be the last of my Christmas favourites for the season. I will probably watch the final day of chritsmas24 tv but then that's it till next season.

We had a couple minutes of snow last night. It was mixed in with the rain/sleet but for a couple of minutes we had flakes for the first time. We were expecting snow mid day today but the forecast has changed. Very very cold though - below 0.

Well I hope you all are enjoying your time and keeping the Christmas blues away. Come January I will really have to fight them off!!

Have magical day.

We will all be here with you and will help you fight them off!

Stay warm!

Good Morning, Sam~

It's slowly creeping in for me, too.
We just celebrated Christmas with my parents yesterday, so I had that to look forward to. Now that's over, and they're traveling for 3 months, so I get a little sad about that too. It will kick in more for me next week, along with New Year's, too.

Thank God for MMC!! And Christmas in our hearts year round [emoji173]️

I love The Holiday! One of my favorite movies, if not the favorite. Adi teases me because I have 2 dvd's of it, one for upstairs & one for downstairs, lol. I used to watch it that much!

Stay warm, I hope you see some more flurries!

xx

Good morning!
Not too much planned for today. I must go food shopping, I have nothing in the house. Other than that, I will be cleaning, organizing and putting all of these gifts away. I can't stand a messy house!
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!
