Hang in there! We haven't "packed" away the Christmas cheer here on MMC! So come visit if the blues set i!!! cheesy
I worried about getting post-Christmas blues again this year, but, honestly, with Nancy's mom in the hospital since Thanksgiving, I feel like we shot right past Christmas and into the next Countdown.
I not only missed the commercial aspect of Christmas that I love, I'm ashamed to admit that, aside from prayers for Mrs. Hilda's health, I mostly overlooked the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
Between trips to the hospital, then my bronchitis and my mom's flu, Christmas sort of passed right by this year. I still have to take the tree down, but we don't have much more decorations besides that up around the house.
So, even though I missed it this year, at least I'm not dealing with the PCBs. I just need to start planning Christmas 2015!
The 'Bers start in, what, just 9 months?!
:???:
I still have Christmas music on too, much to nice to only listen to for a few short weeks.Snow-in-Texas and I did some running around yesterday with Christmas music playing in the car. We are still enjoying it! We came home and took down the outdoor decorations but still have some lights and other decorations up inside the house so it still looks festive. No blues for us yet and hopefully it doesn't set in!
Hoping the Cowboys win today - so excited they are having a great year!
That's a positive way to look at it. But don't feel as though you "missed" Christmas, or missed celebrating Jesus' birth. Those things are in your heart always, and you can celebrate them any time the spirit moves you. That's the essence of MMC.
snow just starting here and going to get very coldGood morning, dear friends~
Stay warm today!
We dropped 30 degrees overnight! Sitting at 0.
And we got a few inches of snow.
Wishing you a blessed day with your loved ones [emoji173]️

I love it too, do not get that one here so nice to get to watch it.Most after Christmas commercial feel sad to me with the "After Christmas Sales" pitch. I love how this guy is not ready to give it up!
I cheer when I see it and Wayne laughs at me. I say to him, "No laughing, this guy is my hero"! Ha ha ha!!!
glad to hear Isac is getting better !He is doing a lot better. Thanks for asking!
The hard part is starting!
my place now looks like the Who homes after the Grinch stole CHristmas ! Need to get busy and clean up. I started in and bent to pick up something and got a sharp pain in my lower back, ouch ! So sitting again for awhile. Took an aleve tablet so hopefully it settles soon.
that is what I love about here, always Christmas cheer to be found!Hang in there! We haven't "packed" away the Christmas cheer here on MMC! So come visit if the blues set i!!! cheesy
Beautiful! I love visiting churches when we go places! St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC is breathtaking and there are so many I visited in Italy I would love to see again some day.
Our Cathedral here in Altoona too, I do occasionally like to go mass to, instead of regular church. Here is a link. So beautiful too!
