Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's a little bit warmer here today where we currently stand at 8 degree's. Unfortunately that is also going to be the high as we are supposed to fall through out the rest of the day until we get back to the -10 range overnight. Boo!!!!!! I have some work on the computer to do today and then have some cleaning to do. I'm feeling pretty good this morning thankfully. Not quite back to 100% but close enough. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

I found a recipe for make-ahead & freeze twice baked taters. So I make a bunch, freeze them, & then when you're ready to eat them, pop them in the oven & wah lah!

Happy Friday everyone! Hope yall have had a great first work week of the new year. I am doing good with my new year's resolution(s) which were to just eat and love healthy and manage my type 1 diabetes which I was diagnosed with a few years ago...so far I am doing good, and I feel great. Still have all my Christmas stuff up inside and a lot of folks do on our street.

Now the weather has been so nice this week out west, but cold in the upper Midwest and east, and to tell you the truth I thought it was suppose to be like that all winter, so it has come to my surprise that almost everyone in the US at least was so warm in December, it just goes to show that mother nature is going to do what she wants! We had a very cold November compared to average and December was one of our warmest ever!! we have a chance of rain,snow mixed over the weekend the last time I looked yesterday, it would be a great weekend to snowboard which I have only done 2 this year!! have a great morning everyone! the weekend is almost here!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Elizabeth's braces were tightened a couple days ago, and on the way home one of the brackets popped off her tooth. I took her back to the ortho yesterday to get it put back on. On the way home, it popped off again! Crazy!

Nancy made me go to another furniture store searching for the perfect couch. It ain't at THAT store, though. Whew, those folks are trying to retire early, I guess.

Hey guys! De-Christmasing today.. I leave my snowflakes/men/etc up so it's still cozy but aww man! I think Sunday will be the day the tree comes down. We got it the weekend before Thanksgiving and it's still going strong!! Can't say enough how worth it cutting our own tree down is!!

On second thought, maybe just one more week.... Have to see what my hubby says!! Have a great day everyone!

I say leave the tree up at least one more week!!!! Especially if it's still going strong!!! I mean that is kind of mean to throw a perfectly healthy tree out!!!

Decided to be brave and head to the grocery store earlier. I managed to get there without getting frostbite somehow!! I got some good deals too. Lots of stuff marked down because I'm guessing there hasn't been a lot of people crazy enough to go this week. Then I headed to the bank and decided that I should stop and get gas. Oh my!! That wasn't the best decision!! LOL!! I still can't feel half of my face!! The wind was strong enough to cut right through my gloves too. Oh well, at least I won't have to worry about it if we get an ice storm sunday night into monday like they are talking about now. Yuck!!!!!!

I know how you feel, I was sad when our trees came down last weekend. I still have all the outdoor stuff up and lit at night yet, I have the candles in the windows as well. It will be a matter of though.

Two years ago, I had the outside lights still coming on up to around January 25th, one day came home from work, and the wife had apparently, went outside during the day and unplugged all the timers to the Christmas lights and brought them in the house. Do you think that's a hint?????
