Love that tree and those vintage Santas in the base. An antique store was selling a few of those exact Santas a few weeks ago. I should have grabbed a couple when I had the chance.

Good early morning friends! My insomnia is out of control!!! I have not really had a good sleep since Monday. I don't know what to do, I don't want to take anything because I always feel bad the next day plus I don't want to be groggy in case I get up with the boys...yall just please pray for me!!thanks so much!

The weather is nice though! It's a nice seasonal 25F right now at 3 am local time. The next 10 days look nice but no snow Sunday it could even get up to 49F I may jump in the pool because that will feel like spring break! I will be here on and off all day! Have a great early morning..and remember it's Thursday I like to call it the gateway to the weekend day!

I hope you are able to get some good sleep soon, have you tried melatonin to help?

Well I dozed off in bed with a drink in my hand and guess what?! Yep I poured/spilled the water all over my side of the bed and even snowball(my dog) got some on him*(yep he sleeps in between me and the wife.lol) I am so nuts because I am delirous, but I still plan on making breakfast!!! I am about to start cooking because brandi just got in the shower... will.be back soon!

That is a rough way to wake up, poor Snowball.

Well, I did it! I took my main tree & all my Christmas things down last night! :sad: The only thing left is the tree in the sunroom, which I'm thinking about adding some blue lights to the clear lights already on it, along with some blue/silver bulbs & snowmen ornaments. I'll see once! Hubby rolled his eyes. :lol: I did get my snowmen out & put them around the house. I have a few more bigger snowmen to get out yet. Sometimes I put some clear or clear & blue lights with the snowmen, but I haven't done that yet. I already miss having the lights in the house! Ah well - in a way, it's nice to have it done.

Tonight we are taking my friend Missy out for her birthday, starting with going out to eat Mexican! Mmmmm!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I left work early yesterday. My brother-in-law called to invite me and Jacob hunting. Since it was the last day of the season, I got Jacob out of school and took Keith up on his offer. We had a great time, but it was so cold I almost froze my ornaments off!

Our tree is still up! I bet I'm the last holdout on MMC!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a warmer day here with a high of 34 degree's!! A high above freezing!!! Woohoo!!! Not to much going on here today. I may run to the grocery store for a few things. It looks like Meijer is having a pretty good 2 day sale too so I will probably go tomorrow also. I would just wait and go tomorrow but I know they will run out half of the regular ad stuff by then. I'm also waiting to hear back from my sister in seattle. My BIL there was involved in a hit and run this morning. It sounds like a truck was coming up the on ramp to the interstate and didn't pay attention as he merged over and side swiped my BIL. The guy didn't stop but my BIL chased him long enough to call the cops and give them his license plate number before he pulled over. Thankfully he wasn't hurt. It sounds like the mini van is pretty bad off though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Hoping everyone has a good Thursday!

Reading about those of you with bugs and other ills made my system jealous, I guess. I didn't feel too well yesterday and was able to leave work about 3 p.m., and I stayed home from work this morning because I didn't really feel any better. Very run-down. Hopefully it's just a passing bug. I'll take it easy today and jump back into the grind tomorrow.

I hope you are feeling better.
I hope it is passing quickly for you, whatever I have is just a nasty little bugger. I am going to my Dr tomorrow to find out what is going on.

That is awful!! Thank goodness your BIL wasn't hurt! I am pleased to hear he was able to pass on that guys number to the police , hope they caught up with him.

Last week someone almost ran into Mr Festive. They were busy talking on their mobile. it was pretty close and by the grace of God nothing happened. I was so angry. The person never stopped to see if he was ok or to apologise.

Cabin fever ! Really needed to get out fir awhile and son wanted to pick up sone stuff. So I drive him around and stay in van while he goes in to stores.

It is a lovely sunny day and good to get out if the house !
My ankle is still sore but slowly getting better . It is going to be awhile.. It hurts more when I get up in morning than at end of day, maybe I should sleep in recliner ?

The cabin fever was the worst thing when I ruptured the ligament in my foot a few years ago. I remember being so bored I went and test drove new cars for fun and something different, instead of sitting around watching TV.

I hope everyone else is ok ?

Extreme weather here at the moment. Luckily we get a break fro a few hours until it resumes even worse for the next few days. Three tornadoes hit within 24hrs in some parts. Arctic gales, thundersnow, clyclone and hurricane force winds on its way. The back fence went last night. I am so worried about my trees. Anyway, it's all good. It will pass.
