Hi everyone! Jude is off today and we are kind of hanging around. We had plans with my Grandmom but she hurt her leg and is getting checked out now. Praying it's nothing serious!!

I asked the kids if they wanted to rent a movie.. Might do that in a bit!

Good morn...erp...afternoon,





Everyone is off for MLK day today, I guess I picked a pretty good week to be sick, got to spend a nice 3 day weekend with my family.

I am exhausted still after well over 8 hours of sleep last night, the fatigue that this flu has given me has been incredible. I told my wife I was going to take down the first tree today, and she told me no once again. She doesn't want me touching them until next week now so I can get my rest. She also said to me that she knows I really don't mind having the trees up longer and it is fine. This is the longest into January all my decorations have been up. I love it, but it is time to come down.



I hope you all have a nice day.

I wish I was off! But we are open today!

Good Day! Ahhhh yes, Winter....

I awoke to a nice, lightly icy sheet, of sleet this morning, all over the driveway (that was totally unexpected and not called for), so I waited until it was safe for me to get outside and salt the driveway (which is like a 50 yard ski slope - downhill that is) and the pad, ended up not getting into the office until after 10 am.

And here I am, off to yet, another, glorious Monday at the office...

Yup, that about sums up how I feel at the moment...

That stinks.

[Holiday]

Hello everyone, been out all day, went to the landfill this morning, then I was off to my grandfathers, to spend some time with him and while I was there, my youngest brother and his wife and their grandkids stopped by un-announced. That was a nice surprise, I haven't seen that brother in about 6 months, so we did some catching up, laughing and had some snacks.

It's like super quiet here right now, Vicki is in bed and Lisa and Zach are at work. I can't really get into anything much, because I don't want to wake her up, since she is not feeling good. At least she's taking the antibiotics now, so it should just be a matter of time now before she is feeling better.
So, here I am.... I decided to take the steam cleaner apart to see what is the matter with it, (it stopped working yesterday on Lisa) and it's an electrical issue; so I can't do a thing about that, so that's shot. Going to have to toss that one out and go get another one.

I did find a surprise in the house when I got home, let me revise that (I found the evidence), Yup, we got a mouse in the house....It's that time of year, where they try to get in some wheres where it is warm and there is food. Oh Lisa is going to love this. So, I just got done baiting and setting 4 mouse traps. Trying peanut butter, see if that will work.....

I'll keep you posted....

Hey everybody! Hope this finds y'all enjoying a wonderfully relaxing Sunday morning. As for me and mine, we are up and playing. I'm sitting here watching her and drinking the coffee....perfect Sunday morning. It's nice out, so we are about to head outside and play.

Had one of those parent nights last week and I have been catching up on sleep since. It was Thursday night at 12:00 and I get slapped in the face. I roll over and look at Bambina and she says "Hey! Ball!" I laid her down, rubbed, she talked, sit up, I lied her down, rubbed....you get the picture. Around two, she decided to start hollering for the dogs. This got them up and they wanted to go outside. Got out of bed, took care of that...and at 2:45 I tapped Doc on the shoulder and said, "It's your turn!" Long night, going to be a great memory.

Today is football day! All you Packer/Colt fans....good luck! At this point, I don't care who wins. I just wanna se good games.

Y'all have a great day! I'm off to play with Bam!

I just read on Pro Hockey Talk that the Bruins will be hosting the outdoor hockey game, the Winter Classic on January 1, 2016 at Gillette Stadium vs the Montreal Canadiens. I missed my chance in 2010 to go to the Bruins game at Fenway Park, maybe I will have to try to go to this one.
