The forecast is pretty much the same this morning. The snow will begin today after noon, the heaviest will be overnight and will continue through tomorrow afternoon.

I guess we're as prepared as we can be for this storm. I'm going to take a ride to Target early this morning to pick up a few more things for the girls. I like to have lots of snacks on hand when we're snowed in. Keeps them quiet! My daughter thinks she's going to work tonight. She works in a gym and she said they only close if the power goes out. I told her she better plan on sleeping there tonight because there is no way she's going to get home during this storm. They're already warning people that the Long Island Expressway will be closed so people aren't stranded. Hopefully the area manager does the right thing and closes that gym.

Keeping an eye on this snow about to descend on some of you. Good to hear you are prepared for it.
All quiet here, just cold. Parts of the Toronto area however are getting snow from the same storm headed your way.
I have to be into work at 11:30 this morning and really have noting to do till then.

Days to Christmas Day: 333
Now under 2 1/2 weeks off from the 1/4 Milestone point to the Season, the second chart marker.
(Hopefully that will take some of the edge off the pending bad weather.)
Speaking of that, it wasn't bad at all here yesterday but sub-freezing weather is just around the corner, albeit certainly not as frightening as that which faces the northeast.
Right now, we show 39.5 degrees on our digital backdoor thermometer, with a cold rain falling.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!
Elizabeth didn't feel well yesterday afternoon. As soon as we got to my mom's for lunch, she asked me to take her back home. She's not running fever or anything, so I think she was just still run down from her overnight trip. We let her sleep in this morning, and Nancy's taking her to school later.
It's a beautiful day down here, sunny and getting to the upper 50's later. I know some of you are expecting bad weather, so I'll send prayers your way.
The newest big boss is coming for a plant visit tomorrow, so we'll spend most of today getting ahead. It's always funny that they just about stop production when they visit, and most of their messages are about increasing production LOL!

Thanks! It's beautiful and still coming down! EA doesn't have school today, but DS does. His preschool doesn't cancel. EA and I'll have some fun today!

We have already started calling around to get plowed out from this big storm, in 2011 when we had 30 inches of snow in one storm it took us 4 hours to dig out. That was with 2 of us shoveling.
Here is what digging out from 30 inches looks like.
