Christmas Countdown - 2015

Been a relaxing day watching the snow come down, we probably have about 13-14 inches out there, and it is still lightly snowing. They have already called for a two hour delay for school tomorrow. The sidewalks are still not cleared for the kids who walk to school. They may still call it off tomorrow.

I am off tomorrow since I was supposed to go in today for the canceled inventory.

Merry Morning all,

well according to the news , it seems the weather wasn't as extreme as they forecasted for some of you. Thank goodness!

It is moving toward us, they can never predict it right here so we will see. The wind was incredibly strong this morning on the school run.

Isaac had a better night. The doctor says it's a bad virus and to keep doing what I'm doing. I feel better getting him checked though, so I 'm sure it isn't anything like ear infection or tonsils etc.

Sorry can't catch up with posts , so much to do today. Take care and have great day!

No further rain fell yesterday, but it was chilly all day despite the sun.
The lows for the next 10 days are supposed to be near or below freezing with the highs below 50 most every day.
(Well, after all, it IS winter.)
We read 27 degrees on our thermometer here this morning.

cheesy Good luck!! xx I decided on one of my favorite 'ol recipes - it was between 2 new recipes & then my trusty Creamy Italian Chicken in the crock pot. I threw it together at lunch. Easy & it's ready when Jim gets home. Wahlah! Haven't made it for awhile! I hope you come up with something yummy ~ I'm sure you will!!

We're having spaghetti & meatballs tonight, a typical Wednesday meal in my house. I did print out a bunch of new recipes though, I'm going to try a couple of them next week. Your dinner sounds yummy, I love my crock pot. I just broke the handle off of my lid yesterday, I'm going to have to buy a new one now. :-?

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Our busy day is over, and it went well. Our new Division VP seems to be a super guy! The last guy was too busy trying to look smooth, with his dyed, slicked hair and shiny shoes. This one is down-to-earth, and seems genuinely friendly. The future is looking brighter!

Nancy and Jacob were late last night with Jacob's band practice, so Elizabeth and I went to Subway for supper. I got the double chicken salad, and it was great!

Good Morning MMC!
Not too much going on today. I'm so relieved that the schools decided to close today and I don't have to worry about the girls driving. My husband went back to work this morning. He said the main roads aren't too bad but the side roads are a mess and the entrance ramps to the highways are icy. I'm sure the schools will reopen tomorrow which means I head back to work. I still don't feel well so I'm glad I have another day to rest.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

He might get tired of seeing us! LOL! My brother lives next door, so he is there quite a bit. My sister stops almost every night. As well as other family members off & on through the week. They never get any peace. :lol:

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a nice day here with a high around 40 and lots of sun. Then tomorrow we are going to get rain and snow. Boo!!! I'm moving slow today. My bed was pretty comfortable and and I didn't want to get out of it. I finally did though. The rest of today will be spent working on a grocery list for next week and paying bills. Oh the fun. I also have some work to do on the computer too. I hope everyone is staying safe and having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Well it turned out to be an eventful morning. I realized about 11:15 that mom's follow appointment with her family doctor was at 11:45 today and not tomorrow. Luckily it only takes about 20 minutes to get there so we made it just in time. What was even more amazing was that her doctor was on time. She is always running late. Got the same old story though. She doesn't know what else to do. Just keep taking the meds.

While I was out I stopped by the grocery store too. I had planned on only picking up some tomatoes but ended up spending $43. I should know better then to go when I am hungry. LOL!!!!!!

Then when I got home, I was in for a surprise. I had a 2 liter of Dr. Pepper in my coat closet so I decided to have it with my sandwich for lunch. When I opened it though it went everywhere. So my question is, which one of you snuck into my apartment while I was gone and shook it up on me?? :lol:

Well the less eventful thing isn't happening. My BIL is being an idiot again and I'm just trying to stay here and let the lawyers handle it.

Hello everyone! I got called into work 2 hours early due to everyone being sick with the flu! I think it will be slow for a few hours(usually until 6pm). I hope everyone is warm on the chilly winter day! right now it is actually a mild 40F here with a low this morning of just 35F we have had a mild winter thus far. Although it did snow on Christmas(started on xmas eve) so I can't complain! Have a great afternoon everyone!

Howdy!

Just stopping by real quick to say hi! It's been awhile since I have been here and really miss you all! Had a few people send me emails asking about my MIA so thought I better stop by. Thanks to all who have kept in touch!

Early January I got the flu and my dad did as well. Then several family members were passing around a cold - great fun! Ha!

Now since I am well I have been busy with gardening! Yes, gardening in January! It's time to plant a few veggies in Texas in the month of January. The weather has been warm the past few days, up to 80 degrees today so getting stuff in the ground now. It will get colder again this weekend. Winter is not over so it's possible we will see snow before it's over - I HOPE! I know most of you folks up north don't want to see anymore so you can pack it up and send it our way! :give:

Not sure how I managed it but never got PCB's - first time for that! Glad it didn't happen! Maybe because I am getting excited about Christmas 2015! cheesy
