Were watching Bizarre Foods, and they are having an episode on Bagels. One of the delis that they are filming this episode at specializes in making Bagel, cream cheese and salmon, IE... Lox!

Well I'm bring it up because Zach and I tried it for the first time around Christmas, and we loved it.

Has anyone else here tried it and do you like it? If so, how do you like it?

You are so right about that! One good thing that catalog does, is that it gives us something to talk about...."OMGosh, look what they want for that thimble....." LOL!!!

Oh yea, I could see that... I'll bet you, that's one reason why your home always looks so lovely!:-D

Lisa sometimes will see something from there and then search for it on wayfair.com or some place like that, for a more down to earth price.

Howdy all, been spending the evening hanging pictures, spackling old nail holes and doing a little designing/ layout in Vicki's bathroom. I had a close call while trying to hang a 5' x 3' long mirror on the living room. It's pretty heavy (has a large wood frame around it), it's got 2 cables strung across the back of it, while I was in the process of hanging the mirror to the wall anchors that I just installed and all of a sudden, one of the cables snapped in half and the mirror fell. Luckily, I still had one hand on it, and it came within a breath of crashing onto the brand new hardwood floors. Yikes....

I'll have to go to the hardware store tomorrow and buy a new cable. Wow, is the wind howling outside! We must be getting gusts around 50 mph, talk about one wicked wind chill at the moment. Glad I'm inside... Vicki called and said her school lost power because of the high winds, good thing they have a back-up emergency generator...

Lisa and I, are having a quiet evening, we are watching Bizarre Foods and are staying under the covers on the couch...Hope everyone is having a nice evening and staying warm.

Glad you were able to catch the mirror!!!

Hope the power comes back on for Vicki soon!!! Glad they have an emergency generator!!

Yay!!! Niece finally went to bed!!! I can watch some real tv now!!! Well after I do dishes and pick up that is.

Good evening!
I'm going to turn in soon. We all head back to work & school tomorrow. I'm dreading it because I know how icy the roads are going to be in the morning. We ended up getting several more inches of snow late this afternoon. I went out and shoveled three times today, its easier for me to do it that way. I still over did it though, I feel sore already.

Hello everyone.

Well my wife got the flu, but seems to be much better. My daughter has recovered so that's a blessing. I hope I'm not getting it! I feel as if all the energy had been sucked out of me but I don't have a fever. We will see.

Thanks! I don't know when I'll get to it, but I may take you up on that. My problem is figuring out how to screw the bolts tight enough to bite into the nylon locks.
