Good evening everyone. The podiatrist's office called earlier and rescheduled my appointment for Monday. I hate when that happens. My foot is bothering me today, I was looking forward to going. No biggie though, I can wait a few more days. And I also have another doctor appointment early tomorrow morning, just a routine annual exam. So at least I get to relax tonight. I'm getting ready to crash on the couch and watch the Islander game.

Happy Thursday evening all. We are finally getting some winter weather. This week we've had ice & snow along with cold temps. We have to park at the bottom of the mountain and walk up to the house. The college where I work has been closed all week. Our low last night was -2 should be about the same tonight. I've had snow cream several times. We are forecast to get another 5 inches of snow tomorrow night. Wish we could have had New England's winter but I'll take this. I'm one of the few in our county enjoying it.

Good morning!
Not too much going on here today. I'm going to take a ride to Target this morning, I have a list of things that we need. Other than that I will just be working on some chores around the house. Still keeping an eye on the kitty cats too, they're doing good so far. I have a doctor appointment later this evening. I've been having pain in the bottom of my left foot for a couple of weeks. I thought it might go away but it hasn't. Hopefully they can tell me what's going on. All kinds of weird things have been happening since I'm in my 40's!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! It's beyond cold here in central Indy where we currently stand at -5 with a wind chill of -23. The temp has actually dropped since I got up almost 2 hours ago. Doesn't it know that it's supposed to go the other direction? Well they still say that we should reach 6 degree's laster today but the wind chill will remain in the -10 to -20 degree range. Then tonight it's going to get even colder. Well not to much going on today. Just going to hang inside and watch some racing coverage this afternoon and then racing tonight. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

I don't know how Santa handles the cold all the time in the North Pole.

We have power! It came on around 8:15 last night. There are still around 6,000 homes without power & it was 4 degrees this morning. It's supposed to be below zero in the morning. It was so nice to have a proper hot shower this morning.

I saw a story on the news yesterday about people stripping down to their underwear and jumping out of windows in to the snow piles. I think they called it the Boston Blizzard Challenge. People are nuts.

A few years ago when we had more snow than we have now, I was shoveling off the roof and I looked down thinking I should jump into the snow from the roof.

Good afternoon, friends! Hope you're all staying warm! I'm currently watching a movie on HMC and just trying to stay warm myself. DH wants to run to Lowe's here in a little bit - he wants me to pick out some paint colors. He's been sanding the basement and should be finished with that soon. We should be able to paint in in the next week or so...moving right along! He also wants me to help him pick out some tile, for a backsplash for our kitchen.
