We are finally getting out from the sleet and snow. We got about 3 inches of sleet and about 4 inches of snow on top of that. I was worried about how long it would linger around, but we got a good melt Friday and yesterday was 50 degrees. Plus, our highway department did a great job. Still some side roads that are shaky, but it is all good...mostly.

Not much planned for the today. Just some family stuff and time with the wife and kid. Gonna be a good one! See y'all later this week!

It's going to be sunny and 75 today, and I can't decide whether to go fishing, shoot skeet, or just sit on the deck. It's beautiful outside!

I wasted yesterday, sitting on the couch watching Netflix, but it was fun. Last night, we took my SIL out to a fancy dinner for her birthday. She likes fru-fru stuff, so we went to the kind of place that has too many forks to keep up with, a guy playing piano in the background, and you have to wear a tie.

I'm more of a jeans and Denny's kinda guy, but the food was pretty doggone good!

Now we're getting ready to go to mom's for lunch.

I did find my nephew in Seattle some Colts t'shirts on clearance for $2 though. So not all was lost. I was going to put them back for his birthday but my sister wants to buy them and put them in his easter basket.

I hate that store hopping. We go through it every year with the boys and their odd selections of stuff they like. It is near impossible to find the stuff they like.

As for what you missed, where do I start. I got hired as a weatherman but only lasted a day. Apparently me telling everyone that it was going to be 90 degree's and sunny when we were actually going to get a foot of snow didn't go over to well with management. And here I always thought that weathermen could be wrong all the time. So then I moved on to being a test subject for a new experimental Ebola vaccine. That whole having to be infected with the virus first thing though kinda made me run for my life as they were getting ready to stick a needle in me. So then I decided to be an author. My publisher fired me for plagiarism though. Something about taking Romeo and Juliet and just changing the names to Randy and Jessica. Not quite sure what she was talking about. Then there was my week as a test pilot for SpaceX's new human rated dragon capsule. That kind of fell apart when I got motion sick during the launch simulations though. I told them i needed more than one bag but they didn't listen. LOL!!!!!!!

Okay, Life has actually been pretty boring. Just the same old same old here.

Good evening,

We enjoyed a busy day out and about doing errands. Did a little bit of spring/summer shopping for the boys. Everyone is feeling better, just still waiting for appetites to return.

We went to Sonic for lunch, it is only the second time we have ever gone there. We will NOT be going back, both times we have gone there it has been an absolutely miserable experience. It took them 35 minutes to get us our food, they screwed mine up, gave it back to get it right, and screwed it up again after waiting another 15 minutes to get it back. I just ate it at that point. I was seething mad, but I could never treat a fast food employee bad after doing it when I was younger. Just will never give my money to them again.

Back to work tomorrow, then Tuesday off.

Glad everyone is feeling better today!!!!

The sonic's here didn't last because of their poor service. They say they are going to open 100 new ones over the next couple of years around town so we will see if they are any better this time.
