Good Morning, Xmastidings!!! Sounds like a busy day!! Stay safe out there on the roads!!

I'm cooking Ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, baked corn, roasted carrots, fresh green beans and bacon, Mac and cheese, macaroni salad, deviled eggs, pickled beets and eggs, and rolls. Then for dessert, we have my dreamsicle dessert, a chocolate pie, and a bunny cake.

I may whip up a few more things too if I have time and depending on what I find in the pantry. Feel free to swing by!!

A big day awaits and big things have already happened!



Doc sent me to buy some stuff for Bambina for Easter. A basket and a bear. Let's just say I got that and more.......a lot more! But what is the point? We only get to do this for a few years! We are gonna have fun doing it!



So, we got a slide, a bunny, an olaf backpack, and Elsa and Anna ball, and TWO Easter baskets! They really should put the noisemakers and the bubble basket and combine it with the princess Easter basket. It only makes sense!



Gotta head out. I got some cooking going on and I want to read a couple more threads in the next few.

Good to see you, Coach! All of the gifts for Bambina sound great! I keep telling myself the same thing for the kids - they'll only be little once, so enjoy it now!

The wind is howling around out there. It SOUNDS cold. It's sunny, though.

Forgot to mention: There are two big buds and a tiny one on my Christmas cactus! It's gotten in the habit of throwing out a bloom or two in April.

Just taking a break after the weekly bookkeeping and bill-paying. A cup of tea may be in order about now.

Sounds beautiful! Enjoy that cactus and the cup of tea!!

Welcome! Thanks - because of work schedules and DH working 24 hours just today, it's just me home, but that's okay, I'll get to spend all day with the kids tomorrow and I'll cherish that!

a cup of tea sounds great right about now

I like to make up a pint of hot tea (with milk and sugar) and sip on it while I watch TV. It's a nice way to relax!

I hope the snow makes way for spring pretty soon up there.

Hi everyone, hope Easter preparations are going well! I have to roast my potatoes in the morning but they are diced and parboiled. My onions are caramelized and hot cross buns are in the oven! We have brunch at my grandparents in the morning!

My hubby's old band is having s reunion show tonight but I couldn't make it due to logistics (who would let the easter bunny in?!) so I am looking forward to cozying up in bed with some good tv after the kids are in bed!!!
