The wind is howling around out there. It SOUNDS cold. It's sunny, though.

Forgot to mention: There are two big buds and a tiny one on my Christmas cactus! It's gotten in the habit of throwing out a bloom or two in April.

Just taking a break after the weekly bookkeeping and bill-paying. A cup of tea may be in order about now.

I have two Christmas cactus's as well. I got the first one in 1992 when my son was born and the second in 1994 when my daughter was born. I just checked them and one of them has one little bud and one flower that just dropped off onto the carpet.

I am now Sugar....I ended up, being on the road almost all day today. I checked and I put on almost 450 miles today....I thought I was going to get a chance to do some odds and ends around the house this afternoon/ evening, Nope! The wife had other plans for me.....

Anyhow, I'm not going into work tomorrow, and I will stay home most of the day....

Me too!!! I have a box of gingersnaps that make for great dunkers....

That sounds good. Must try that sometime! Gingersnaps are usually too hard for me. That would be a great solution!

Good Morning sleepy heads.... I'm waiting for the coffee to finish brewing and once it's done, I'm off to the office. Perfect time to get caught up on the latest posts and to see what else Made has cooked up for tomorrow....

My day will be as busy as it usually is on my weekends, go to work for a few hours, then leave and drive over and pick up my grandfather and bring him to my house, go back and drop him off at his house, come home again, pick up my daughter, take her to work and then come home once more and install a new ceiling fan and see whatever else I can get into.....Remember each road trip for me is about 35 -50 miles (one way)!!!
Busy-busy-busy!!!!

I am exhausted just reading that, what a busy day.

Why Good Morning wishes extended out to you lovely ladies on this Saturday morning...

Yes, my approach to everything that is in front of me today is to sort of to look at each task one at a time instead of the whole picture (which could drive a person mad....).

So, each task, job, or thing that I have to do, I look at with like, these blinders on (ummm, blinders, it's what you would put on a horse to keep it's attention and focus on the things in front of it, instead of all of things that was around it - men are really good at that, it's in our nature to not do well at multi-tasking - scientifically proven) and then that way, I give it 100% attention and my efforts without getting sidetracked. I bang out each task, one at a time and then by the end of the day, I look back and think to myself, got a lot done....Time to more onto to better things like dessert, dessert and ummmm did I say dessert~

Depending on what it is, multi-tasking is easy. I have working on the laptop, playing a game on the tablet, and watching TV at the same time down pat. cheesy

Hey..... I just took a can of bush's baked beans (with bacon) and a can of albacore Tuna, put them in the same bowl, thew it in the microwave - poof instant lunch that sticks to your ribs... It was pretty tasty~

Econo lunch at the office~ Macgyver has nothing on me....

After eating the beans, Macgyver would want nothing to do with me. cheesy
