A joyous Easter to everyone!
We're going to take it easy and eat out today. A local restaurant is having an Easter Sunday menu. Later on I may watch "Harvey." When I was growing up, that was usually on TV on Easter. He's my favorite six-feet-three-and-a-half-inch rabbit!
Hope you're all enjoying the day with your families and friends!
I have never seen that movie, even though I have heard many good things about it.

Friends, Easter made me miss Christmas...
It was so much fun. Hunting eggs, being with family, cooking, shopping....all too much fun. I'm so unfairly blessed. It was such a great time.
You know what else? I have my own little Christmas countdown that I do....and yesterday was the 1/2 mark until I do the first thing Christmas related. In August, there are several things that we do to prepare of rChristmas and we are officially 1/2 way. Now, there are other things that take place during summer...like planning, etc....but Easter reminded me how much I miss all of it. It will be here before we know it.
Well, I gotta go! Things to do before we go to bed. We are also watching The Ten Commandments. One of my favorite movies of all time. Love it!

Good evening and Happy Easter,
Busy day here, we had the family over for our Easter dinner. I do have to say that the prime rib I made was the best one I have ever made. I usually keep it in the oven too long or too short, but this one was perfect for a change. I rubbed it down with olive oil and Slap Ya Mama seasoning, wrapped it in bacon. MMMmmmm mmmmm! The Slap Ya Mama seasoning really added a nice flavor.
The big bunny was generous to the boys, they loved the baskets and all that was in them.
We had an egg hunt this afternoon, and during it we had quite the snow squall, it was fun watching them hunt eggs in a passing snowstorm.
Back to work in the am, I am already really looking forward to Tuesday, not much rest today.

Went down to the in-laws, met the Mrs. there and had a marvelous dinner and a fantastic dessert. we spent several hours with them chatting away and then we had to get home, it was getting late, have to get up before 5am so, off to bed I go...

Well another holiday has come and past. From here on out, I start really looking forward to seeing Christmas back in Hobby Lobby and CIJ. It won't be long now.
I have to take mom to the hospital first thing in the morning for some more bloodwork that the doctor ordered. Then I have a few errands to run and some stores to hit up for marked down easter candy. LOL!!!! So I probably won't be around until the afternoon tomorrow.
