Been feeling "ugh" since late Sunday afternoon … first it was tummy cramps that got me up throughout the night, so I called in sick yesterday. My tummy felt better later, but I could barely drag myself around. I still felt bad this morning and called out sick again. Woke up with a headache, which I finally got rid of, but I still can barely drag myself around and have no appetite. Don't know what to do for it. Just gotta get back to work tomorrow.

Aggghhh, sounds like you've caught a little nasty bug....The girls in the house here caught something like that, but it passed us guys completely and I'm soooo thankful for that. I sure hope that your feeling better tonight Merry, so that at least you can go to work.... Bunny slipper, recliner, soup. crackers and hot tea....

Yea, I was clock watching all day today....Couldn't wait to beat feet and get out of dodge today....The couch is feeling might fine this evening~

I speak from experience … get that tooth looked at sooner rather than later. If a root canal is needed, don't delay it. If you think it hurts now, believe me, it can get even worse.

I wish I could get you to the dentist we had before he retired. He could do a root canal and it would hurt less than another dentist's filling.

Thank you Merry! I wish he was around as well....It's getting worse. I have an appointment with the dentist tomorrow. It will be my first ever visit there. We had to find a new dentist because it sure didn't make much sense to drive 100 mile round trip, just to see the same dentist that we did have.... Well, I suppose it's better than what they used to do back in the 1800's when you had a bum tooth....grab the pliers right Made?

Just looked at Intellicast and another round of showers is getting ready to roll on in...Dreary and blahhh outside, although it's not really like cold outside, just that damp yucky feeling. Today/ tonight, I feel is a great day to chill beside the fireplace for awhile....

Well, in 2 weeks I'll join the rest of the family in having to wear glasses. Not to shocking. At least they aren't to bad.

Thank you … Yeah, I've been doing a lot of sofa-sitting and TV yesterday and today (cozied up under my custom-designed film afghan), with broth and crackers and tea. The weird part has been feeling so unwell after the "sick" passed, if that makes any sense. I think I'm starting to come back, though. I should make it back to work tomorrow, even if I'm not running at full speed yet.

We're expecting a gray and rainy week, too. I haven't really noticed the weather for a couple of days, huddled up on the couch.

Well my Dad & my Grandma (his Mom) were celebrating a Reds opening day win in heaven last night! That was a fun game! There was never a bigger Reds fan than my Grandma! cheesy

I feel like I had a whole night of nothing but sports between the Reds & Wisconsin! :lol:



As mentioned earlier, it's another rainy day in Ohio! My hubby just texted saying he got the day off - they had too many drivers scheduled. Lucky duck! One of my 2 bosses is off today, so it should be a pretty good day here too! :smile:

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's another rainy day here in central Indy too but at least we should be up near 70 today. Not to much going on here today. I have a few things to do around here and then I have an eye appointment this afternoon at 4. It's been 20 years or so since my last one and I know they have gotten worse. Darn old age. LOL!! I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!
