Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Morning, MMC!!! It looks like it will be a beautiful day here with a high in the low 60's. Nothing really planned for me today. My glasses are supposed to be in this afternoon, so I will go pick them up after 3. Then there is the Nascar race tonight. Other than that, I'm going to be lazy. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

Good morning Made! Yea, it woke me up this morning.. Of course, I was laying on that side again, which, probably didn't help matters at all....

Last night I took 2 of those "happy pills", I slept the best that I have in the past week, not perfect, but better... This morning, it's letting me know that it's there but not having that sharp pain, radiating down my neck and up into my ear, like yesterday. So far, it's like a dull, throbbing ache, that gets a slight twinge of pain...I just took three ibuprofen, so I'll see how that does. I want to see if I can stay away from the narcotics today.....

Yea, it's starting to get on everything around these parts as well...Pollen count is climbing (all trees) so far, but you know grasses will be right behind that. I already started taking my allergy meds as a precaution, just to build up some resistance to mother natures fairy dust.....

Thanks buddy, the same is going for you as well... I go back in a week to the endodontist and they will check it out to make sure that everything is getting under control, (the infection and pain). Then the following week, I go the regular dentist and start the process of get a crown installed. It's a long drawn out process.

Good Morning MMC !

got the new tires for my van now have to go and drop them at my brothers place. Taking mom along and going to visit a few thrift stores as well.

Made some sourdough starter a week ago and it is doing well, will soon be ready to start using. I forget who but someone here mentioned making vanilla extract, there is nothing better than the homemade stuff. My new batch still has a lot of sitting around to do and should be ready by the end of May. I love the home made take lots of time to process ingredients, so wonderful in baking and cooking.

Good Morning, Weekenders!

And What a Wonderful Weekend, Well Worth the Willing Wait, When We Witness Wild Wonders like:
Days to the Season: 216
Days to Christmas Day: 258

And Wonders of Wonders, we now find ourselves just a day over two weeks off from the 1/3 Christmas Day
Milestone, and only a day more away from the 200-day Season Window.
(Gee whiz!)


Pollen, pollen everywhere! Just take a step on the ground and a yellow cloud rises.
When the wind blows, we have yellow fog.
When it rains lightly, we have yellow puddles.
Yuck!
The harder rains clear things away for about an hour, then it all comes back.
Oh, well. At least the temps and humidity are low.
Today has commenced at 63 degrees here in the capital city.

Good morning!
Happy Saturday!
I'm heading out soon to get my food shopping over with. Back home afterward to work on some chores around the house. I also plan on visiting my parents later this afternoon. Tonight is the last regular season hockey game for the Islanders so we'll definitely be watching. I'm going to make tacos for dinner, that will be quick and easy!
