Good Morning, Pines Day People.

Yes, hard though it may be to believe, we have once again cycled around to mid-week and another 'Pines open house, giving our friendly activities director, Carl the Camel, another chance to entertain us as only he and his staff can.

But Carl and company can wait.
First we must cogitate the implications of this, hot off the press:
Days to the Season: 212
Days to Christmas Day: 254

And these fascination numbers show us that we are but 12 days away from the 200-day Season marker.
Not only that, but the day after tomorrow will see us down to SINGLE DIGITS to the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone.
(Merciful heavens!)


Moderate temps continue here but they are now accompanied by rain.
In fact, we had a brief heavy rain last night and more is predicted off and on for the remainder of the week.
Today has begun damp and shows an opening temperature of 53 degrees.

I finally got my hair cut yesterday and I look 10 years younger, if I do say so myself. Elizabeth accidentally sat on my reading glasses last night, so I went out this morning and bought a sporty-looking pair, so I'm looking pretty spiffy today. :wink:

We have another tour through the plant today, so I'll be unavailable for most of the day.

Thanks sugar! It was a great time ~ lots of laughs! Our family needed that! Hope you are having a great Hump Day!

I'm off to a nice start to the end of my day.... I got to leave the office earlier because I had to drive into Baltimore City to attend a project review meeting with the city's Chief Fire Marshall. Then got out of the meeting earlier than expected, then cruised right on home with like hardly no traffic at all on the road (which is a surprise in all it's own right, because of the time of day and it's raining).

I get home, there's the blind that I had sent to California 3 weeks ago for repairs. I got that installed, got some pierogies on the stove, breaded porkchops in the broiler and then I will steam the veggies when everything else is done.... And it's not even 5pm yet!!!! YES, time for some MMC chatting.....

I love surprises like that! I have no doubt you enjoyed it fully!! Have a great day!!!

Did I tell you guys that ABC Family is going to be bring back the Muppets on primetime again? And that means that there will be Muppet Christmas specials on....Remember like when John Denver did a Christmas special with them....
