Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Morning!
Happy Pine's Day!
I'm heading out soon, my two oldest have physical appointments. I have to run to Target today as well. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house. And the playoffs begin tonight, game 1 Islanders vs Capitals so we'll be watching.

I had two things in my mailbox last night: Hallmark Dreambook & my first ever speeding ticket...

Our tiny city just started this: officer sits in the bushes with a radar gun & takes a picture of your tag, computer calibrates your speed, yada-yada...; I know we should go the speed limit, but they shouldn't be sitting in the bushes & you can see that they are by the picture they send you of your speeding vehicle-all tall grass at the bottom of the picture. From now on, people can line up behind this granny to the next town if they have to. I hope to never get another ticket.

Oh well, DD's dress fit & she also found a sweater, shoes, & hair accessories. She is not a shopper so I didn't mind. I'll go back later & get the dress & sweater in different colors!

DH & DD were both excited over the Dreambook. They had a Monster High ornament of DD's favorite character, so we know which ornament my mom will be giving her this year!

I guess two out of three ain't bad!

The house is looking better than ever. We're still putting things back into the bedroom & closet. Pea gravel was brought in for the landscaping yesterday & more coming today. We're broke until payday on Friday, but we look good!

Oh I hate that they can do that...same with the traffic light camera's. BS! My sister got a ticket in the mail for a speeding ticket 2 hours from here....she hadn't even been to that city. Come to find out her son was driving her car & he was the speeder. WHOOPS! cheesy

I bet your house is looking great! Fun times ahead! Sounds like your daughter hit the jackpot! Great!

That's a bummer about the speeding ticket. I'm glad your daughter liked the dress though and that you got your dream book!!! Enjoy looking through it and planning out what your going to get!!

Good morning MMC! Looks like it's going to be a gorgeous day!! Love it! Yesterday was overcast & just a bit chilly, but I got lots of walking in & so did Gracie. Warmed ya right up! Loving all the spring flowers in bloom!

Hubby went fishing last night so we didn't get to grill out, but tonight is the night...IF he will be home long enough. He's planning to till the garden (YES!) & he has a chiro apt! Always something. I might have to grill it & he can eat whenever he gets home! I'm also thinking about running back to the store for those stackable chairs after work. I'm getting antsy to have more seating on our patio! If it's nice on Friday we may have guests for FUNDAY FRIDAY!!

I've heard rumors that Carl is going all out for Made's anniversary tonight. Rumor has it diabolical laughter has been heard coming from inside the Pines as they prepare for this evening's festivities. Then, I just received word that emergency crews responded a few minutes ago after an accidental explosion!
Thankfully no one was hurt but reports state there was glitter EVERYWHERE!

Yeah, I have a real problem with ambush-style ticketing. That usually happens when the local government determines that one way to get extra money is to milk motorists.

The police are supposed to be there to serve and protect, not stalk and ticket.

Just my 2¢.
