The doctor said instead of her wearing her cast for 4 weeks now, he would like her to wear it for 6, just because she is young. He wants to make sure it fully heals - I guess he's just afraid with how active she is, she may just move it around to much, etc. He said yesterday on the X-ray, it looked like it was healing well.

It's such a beautiful day, it's hard to be inside at work! I always get antsy this time of year to get outside!!!



Not a lot going on here today. I'm planning to walk Gracie at lunch - my friend might join us. That's about it other than work work work! :wink:

DH worked on ours yesterday too! We'll plant ours here in another week or two - the last frost is usually the first or second week of May - I would have to look up the actual date, but that's when we'll start planting. I can't wait to start having my own veggies again!

Had some Family Drama yesterday. My sister called around 9pm to let me know that she and her husband were spending the night at a hotel. She lives on the outskirts of Baltimore, and some kids in the area were throwing rocks at houses and stores and just generally getting out of hand. My sister said that the Riot Police showed up, and lots of very low flying helicopters. She got good and spooked and grabbed her purse and ran for it. Her husband was at his bowling meet, so she went there first. The excitement was still going on when he left the bowling alley, so they stayed at a hotel. She said she drove past her house this morning, and all was peaceful again. No rioters, no helicopters, but police were cruising the area. This is scary. I'm sure if you had told me that there would be riots in my sister's neighborhood, I would have laughed at you. No more. It's a different world now.

That's so incredibly sad. People shouldn't have to live this way and have to worry about living in fear. Praying for you sister and BIL.

The Spelling Bee is over. He made it a couple of rounds through, but got hung on astringent. Oh well. He has one more year to go for another chance at the Spelling Bee.

As far as becoming a known musician, he has great aspirations. I don't know any of the famous guys, but Luke Bryan is from this area, and several of my friends know him. Also, I bird hunt with Cole Swindell's brothers LOL.

Congrats to Jacob!

As far as his music career, he has great people from that area! Cole Swindell has been one of my favorites since I saw him in concert with Luke last year. Good pick! [emoji4][emoji106]
