You know, it was my fault for getting it on me, I forgot to spray myself down with DEET.
But honestly, that stuff, it worries me of putting that on your body and it getting absorbed into your skin. What is that going to do to us later on in life? I don't know, it's like one half dozen or the other....
Maybe they to develop a Frontline for Humans....
All this talk of ticks, now I'm starting to feel like I got bugs crawling on me....(itchy!!!)
Not s good feeling! That's how we feel, too.
But I'm more worried about her, than myself. Praying there's not more here.

You know, I've heard a lot of good things about that Frontline product, so I'm so surprised that she had a tick embed itself at all....
Thank you, I will. They say it's a great product, but it's not 100%, they can still embed and most likely they will die, but you still need to remove it. And pray they don't spread any diseases in the meantime.

And I think it's kind of hanging there by a thread at this point, I was able to get the tick remover in somewhat, I just can't get a good grip because of where it's located on her. I want the vet to get it out safely, and clean her up good [emoji169]

Good Morning, Everyone.
Hey! Getting mighty close to another Weekend Eve.
But the heck with that, we are getting mighty close to a more momentous event, the HALF WAY point to Christmas Season 2015!
More on that presently.
First, the daily numbers:
Days to the Season: 183
Days to Christmas Day: 225
Now, just how close are we to that Magnificent Marker?
Is TOMORROW close enough for you?
Wow, what a fantastic day yesterday.
The high was in the 70's, the humidity was bone low, there was no rain, lots of sunshine and only gentle breezes to stir things up a bit and keep it interesting.
(And yes, I DID get that mowing done. Not to mention weed eating and leaf blowing. The yard looks, and feels, great!)
A couple more nice days before the rain and humidity returns.
We stand just over 58 degrees here at this hour in the capital city.

What's weird about it is: the road is closed, our friend who is on the local fire dept said it will be closed until May 22 - but there is NOTHING about it on our local news! I went to Menards last night & I normally go right through there - the road is definitely closed! Had to take the back roads (which I do a lot of times anyway)

LOL! You might be on to something! I asked if he got the "Wheaten Greetin" & he said "OH YEAH! But I wish ALL the dogs I run into daily were like her!" :-D
HALFWAY TO THE CHRISTMAS SEASON...ON A FRIDAY?!? I don't think my old heart can take it! I better call my cardiologist and tell him to be on standby! cheesy

I had to leave work early yesterday. I forgot a dentist appointment (for a cleaning), and I had to run. I hate the way my teeth feel...spaced apart after all that. LOL
While I was out, I ran around doing some work on my part-time business, then picked up the kids from church. Just a regular Wednesday.
Tonight Elizabeth has rehearsals for her season-end recital this Saturday. I'm looking forward to that. I've become a real fan of ballet. Who says old dogs can't learn new tricks, eh?

Good Morning, MMC!!! One more nice day here with a high of 70 degrees. Then the summer heat returns along with the storm chances. I have a few errands that need to be run today and then I need to do some work around the house. I'm going to try and get some porch time in tonight too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!
