We just had to talk our way through a tough decision. But I think we made the right one. We had to close a door to walk through another one that opened at the last minute. Things should turn out well. At any rate, the decision makes Mr. a happier man in the long run, so that makes it good.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be another cool day here with a high of 61 degree's!!! WooHoo!!!!! Like Holiday mentioned though, a warm up is on the way. Yuck!!! Not to much going on today. Just need to go through the grocery ads and plan a shopping list. I might run a few errands too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Reading Holiday's posts, it's hard to say that we'll have another low to mid 90's scorcher today. Whew! It rained every day for a couple months earlier this year, but it hasn't rained in a month now. It's getting hot & dry!

I've been filling in potholes in our driveway with crusher run that we generate here at work. I've had to shovel it into several 5 gal. buckets, then take it home and shovel it into place. Hot, hot, hot! But it sure is nice to drive into the yard without feeling like you need another set of seat belts.

I took Lulu to the vet for another x-ray. She's still having some bladder issues. Thank the Lord, the vet says she should improve on the new diet. Lots of relief there!

I don't miss having a gravel driveway. They are always a lot of work to keep up. Of course, my apartment complex is like a minefield out there with all of the potholes too.

She was cracking up the neighbor guys the other night. They were outside talking at our next door neighbors & I was trying to plant flowers. Gracie came up & snitched a 3 pack of impatiens & went ruuunnnnning through the yard with them! She shook them all out of the plastic container - the flowers were fine. She wanted the container. Guys are laughing hysterically! Then she came up & stole the plastic tray that all the little 3 packs were in. She held her head up high with that thing up in the air & raaaaaaan through the yard! She's so fast!! The guys were CRACKING UP! Then I went in the house for a bit & walked back out & our neighbor guy is there by our garage, totally laughing. I asked "now what did she do?" He said - she went in the garage & got your big bag of potting soil (it was empty) & went ruuuunnnnning though your yard with her head held high - parading it around! She knows when she has an audience! So I look in our front yard & there lays the tray, the potting soil bag, my hand trowel, & an empty flower container! Little booger!!! She's so darn ornery!

So cute!! Gracies sounds like such a great pup....she sounds a lot like my Leo!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!!! Yippee!

This weather is crazy! I saw so many people walking by our house last night wearing ear muffs & gloves! I stopped at Moms & my brother was outside unloading a trailer with his winter coat on (and he is very hot blooded!) What in the heck is going on?? I want our 80º weather back! (or at least 75...geez!) It's May 21st! I should not be wearing jeans or capri's to work anymore! It's time to get the shorts out! cheesy

Last night was a pretty uneventful night. I went to the hardware store for more flowers & I bought 3 pots for the patio. I was hoping to get them planted, but by the time I got home it was spitting rain. Not much fun to plant flowers in the cold/rain! I did grill hamburgers & asparagus between the rain drops! That was my 1st burger on the grill of the season. Delicious! I tried to watch a Christmas movie from dvr last night. It was on TLC "The Secret Santa" ~ it was a documentary type movie but it just moved to slow for me. I kept FF it, but I ended up falling asleep. It was interesting, just slow moving! Anyway....

I can't believe this but I woke up this morning and I feel like I'm getting a sore throat. I just got over a bad cold, it's so frustrating. I'm going to call my doctor after work and see if I can get an appointment later today. I hate to say this but I'm looking forward to the end of the school year.
