how are all my fellow Christmas loving friends doing?
I have been so busy can hardly believe it has been several days since I came by here to visit.

We had frost last night but I covered my little plants and they are all fine.

Went to garage sales with my eldest this morning, would have been great if I had small ones at home, seemed everyone in that town had only kids stuff to sell. They should get together and just trade.!

Got to have lunch with my sister and hubby before they leave to go home to Vermont tomorrow. My brother and his wife joined us and mom too so it was a nice time together.

I got the spring fever and have been doing lots of cleaning around the house. How does so much dirt get under a fridge? did some work in the back yard as well, had to put some large stones along fence to keep neighbors dog from digging under and ruining my garden. She seems to have no power to stop him from digging so this was best way to keep the peace....I hope.

Well getting late and I am tired from all this work plus I have a really good book to get back to.

Good evening everyone. Busy day. I had lots to do around here after I finished all of my shopping and took Maggie to the vet. Looks like Maggie may have a respiratory infection so we started some new medicine, hopefully it will kick in and help her. I didn't get much sleep last night because she was up coughing so I'm going to turn in soon. I hope she has a better night, the poor thing. Anyway, I hope everyone had a nice day. Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I love getting up early on the weekends. I have the TV and the sofa to myself. I can drink coffee, eat reduced-fat Oreos and watch Star Trek for at least a couple hours!

Jacob's band has a morning gig at 10, so we'll all have to get moving soon. I'm hoping Jim and I can go see The Avengers later today, then go to the local junk yard to sift for car parts. What fun LOL!

YES!!!! I'm totally all in for that! Sounds like a perfect start to a perfect weekend~ Nothing like a little me time every once and awhile!!!

Happy Saturday everyone! Been a good day here, I spent all day in the basement building and installing these massive storage shelves. They're big boys, 18 feet long x 2 feet wide. I got one wall entirely done, and I did it all by myself (I'm so happy with myself). Tomorrow, I'm going to do another wall of shelving and also install some more plywood and all kinds of things.. Fun times!!!

I had a lot of time today by myself, because everyone else was working this afternoon and evening. So, with very few interruptions, I made good progress towards my goals for the basement.

Now, the rest of the night, Oh, I think some MMC, some Kung Fu Panda, some Vanilla Ice cream and then bed time....:wink:

Another severe weather night! We made cookies before the storms started. Sirens went off, we got in the shelter, and thankfully everyone is fine! Came back to find a lot less cookies on the pan and a very guilty looking Kimmie!
