Good evening everyone, just a quick hello. I need to get dinner started as soon as I finish my cup of coffee, I'm running behind schedule here.
My husband and I took Molly in for her follow up visit at the animal hospital. It wasn't good news. We were told that the mass is large. In fact, the doctor that performed the biopsy said it was one of the largest he's seen in a small dog. It is highly invasive and difficult to remove. There is no guarantee that a surgical excision would be successful and there is no guarantee she would even survive the surgery itself. So we have a lot to think about. We have another appointment tomorrow with the doctor that would perform the surgery, if we choose to do it. I'm just trying to get as much information as I can so that I know we're making the right decision, whatever that ends up being.
I'm sorry to talk about something sad on the countdown, just wanted to keep you all posted.
Hope everyone is well and has a nice night.

I'm so sorry, HMG. Praying for Molly & your family.

Good evening,

Long day at work, day off tomorrow, no plans. I need to stay off my feet, my foot has been hurting me for a few weeks now, and the pain is getting worse. It is the foot that I didn't rupture the ligament in a few years ago. I am worried about going to the doctor because I missed 6 weeks of work the last time.

I watched game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, another exciting game, Tampa squeaked out a one goal win.

I should be around tomorrow.

Goodnight, everyone.

I hope it's not a serious problem, xmas. I remember when you were out of work that time, I know it wasn't fun.

Goodnight, Holiday!

Hope you have a nice evening!!

Continued prayers for your Mom [emoji258]

Thank you snowflake!! I checked on her this morning & she said she doesn't feel as good this morning as she did yesterday afternoon, but hopefully as the day goes on, she gets better. She's going to my sisters house today ~ she's going to put her to work! :)

Kind of sounds fishy to me too - if it has been going on since the new med, sounds like it could be very good possibility. Just keep fighting for her, if she doesn't get better. Praying she shows signs of improvement soon!

We will! Thanks sugar!!! She only had 2 "events" in the last 24 or so hours - prior to that it was 13 from Saturday to Monday morning. I hope we get some answers soon! xx

Is anyone else jealous of how fit Brent is?

 LOL! Just kidding, my friend! cheesy

Oh, you should have seen ME run last night!!! Gracie took off on an escapade!!! We were outside with the neighbors & Gracie was playing with the neighbor dog. If there are other dogs around, we could always take her collar off & she always stays with us. Not last night! (Oh, we did fine her collar, it fell behind the coffee maker) Anyway - the minute Jim took her collar off she took off like a mad woman!!! She ran the path that her & I normally walk. She was FLYING!! I took off like a mad woman running through the neighbors yards...3 neighbors + Jim took off on their bicycles trying to keep track of her! Thankfully our neighbor on the next street over was walking her dog & she caught her! She said Gracie looked like American Pharoah! cheesy Our other neighbor said she ran like a Greyhound, we need to enroll her in races! OMGosh! I think she has wanted to do that for a long time!!! She must think I hold her back to much on that leash!!! Little booger. She slept good last night!

Thanks Holiday, I appreciate the prayers.
Keeping your mom in my thoughts, I hope she feels better very soon.
xx

Thank you HMG!

I am so sorry HMG! Sending big (((HUGS))) That is a tough decision & I know you'll make the decision that is right for Molly & you all! I hope you can get all the information you need! Prayers going up for all of you!

Hi everyone. We had a bad thunderstorm roll over us and we are currently under a thunderstorm warning and tornado watch.

I had spent all day outside getting caught up on my yard work. It took me 2 passes over the lawn with the tractor to get the lawn looking like a lawn again instead of a hay field. Guess what? I caught another snake today. This one, was in my garage, it was about 30 inches long and an angry little thing. It kept on trying to bite whatever I would put in front of it. I got it in a trash can with a broom and carried it down to the woods and set it free.. It was another Eastern garter snake.

I ended up getting a lot done outside today and also inside as well; great day... Well, tonight, just going to relax and spend time some quality time with our son and his new girlfriend.

Oh man! EEK!!!! I would have freaked out!! Hope you had a nice night with your son & his new girlfriend!

Lulu ran off last night, too! She spotted the neighbor's dog in our yard, and had a FIT! When we finally got to her, she and the other dog were circling each other, both scared to start the fight LOL.

She has an alligator bark, but a Chihuahua bite.

Hopefully, it is her meds. We'll keep our fingers crossed that it is nothing serious. Thank goodness, you have all those sisters to help you out with taking care of your mom. I hope everything comes out ok with her....

Thanks xmastidings!! Last night my brother spent the night with her. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall.... cheesy

I will continue to keep your mom in my thoughts.

Thanks so much xmas365!

Hi! I just wanted to drop in and tell y'all that I haven't abandonded you. I have been really sick for a few days and am finally feeling some better tonight. I will get on tomorrow and try to catch back up. Hope you all are doing well and having a blessed evening. See you tomorrow, I hope! :)

Happy Tuesday snowflake! Stay cool today! That's plenty warm! We are supposed to top out 10º lower than you today but 89º is predicted for tomorrow!! Have a great day!

Good morning!
We're expecting showers and storms today, on and off. I wanted to grill chicken for dinner so hopefully it will let up by this evening.
Today is my last day of work at the preschool. I'm feeling kind of sad about it but I think I'm making the right decision. I really just don't have the energy to be there, I already have a full plate at home.
We also head back to the animal hospital this afternoon to have a consultation with the surgeon. Other than that I'll be trying to catch up with my daily chores.
I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Have a good day HMG...thinking of you. Good luck with the consult today.

Speaking of snakes, and creepy crawlers...
Found this little gem recently [emoji53]

They just hatched.
Gypsy Moth caterpillars. Not good.

Right near our master bedroom's patio doors.

Lawn care company coming today. It better be removed properly!

It must have been in the air!! My friend sent me this picture of her puppy last night:

[Dutch Uncle voice] It IS difficult, but I think your continued mobility should come first. If there's an injury, you don't want to let it go to the point where it could become permanent.

I agree!!

That particular Santa artwork looks familiar ... maybe I saw him in a storybook when I was a tot. Anyway, good to see him again!

He does have such a warm, kind, and jolly face!

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday!! Not much going on here again today. We had some storms roll through last night. The sky was creepy looking, we had wind, lots of rumbling & a crazy light show, but I haven't heard of any damage. It was just scary looking!

Hope you are all having a Terrific Tuesday! I can't believe the countdown to Christmas starts with a "1"

From what I'm told, the shrub will be destroyed anyways, but you're supposed to burn it all.
But with them already hatched, I don't know that you can completely be rid of them. It is best to get them during the day though, because they leave the nest at night and feed. Sounds like a horror movie!
