In celebration of being nearly two months away from the debut of the "Christmas Blossoms" thread - our favourite thread of the year - I believe it is a great time to share some findings from last week's visit to Tinseltown!

My mom and her husband were up last week for their first visit in a few years. As I have mentioned before, my mom and I share a passion for our favourite season. Naturally, Kim, my mom, and I had to visit our favourite store in Canada's Capital. Kim and I were due for a visit, since we hadn't been there since sometime in early March.

3-foot tall Grinch! I would love to own one of these... unfortunately, they are about $300.

These Santas were strangely dressed and also moved like those old Santa and Mrs. Claus figures from the 80s:

You click on Upload A File, i've just done it on my phone and I select it from my camera roll :)

Okay, thanks, friend! I'll try it - I tried to figure it out, but couldn't get it to work, but hadn't tried that option yet. Thanks again!

More figures... I didn't realize the bad lighting until now:

Glad you enjoyed them as well. It's always great to walk from 90F temperatures outside and step into Christmas!

It really is!! =]

I've "cranked" the AC & watched CIJ most of the weekend!!

Hey buddy!

You tempted to buy anything yet?

Just broke down and bought the Lenox ornaments for teacher gifts, EA's baton instructor, etc. They will make beautiful, cheap gifts.

We also bought the Dell laptop they're airing right now. We're in need of a new one and it's such a great deal!
