I'm glad you were able to see them on their short visit. That would be so hard. My brother in Cape Cod goes through that. The guilt & missing everybody. I hope they can come home for Christmas!! xx

The kids created a fruity dessert to cook on the grill and it came out YUMMY! I let them decide what ingredients to put in it but was against putting bar-b-q sauce in it like my granddaughter suggested! Lol! They sliced up a banana, put in can fruit cocktail, a little butter, cinnamon, vanilla cooked it all up in a tin pan until bubbly then topped it with powdered sugar. I'm sure this has been done before but I never had it and the kids were thinking up stuff as we went along. Easy to make and good!!!
All this cooking OUTDOORS but my kitchen INDOORS is now a disaster! How did that happen?

Snowflake, my grandson was looking over my shoulder as I scrolled through, saw the picture of you and said, "what dog is that"? I scrolled back up and he said, "Oh, I thought that was you with another dog"! I told him thanks for the compliment, I wish I looked like her! He just saw the blonde hair as I scrolled quickly through so he thought it was me, for just a sec.

Harlowe gets a lot of attention and lovin' from the kids in the neighborhood, our walks are much longer in the summer, when everyone is outside! ;-)

Longer walks in the summer?! I envy you! Our summer walks are, step outside on the front porch then run back in! Ha ha! I know you know all too well of hot summers since you lived in Vegas for awhile. Like I have said before, Vegas is hot but I can handle the heat better there than here. Still, very hot!!! I don't want to deal with either place and their heat! =)

They're longer because we have to stop for too many kids! ;-)
It's so humid that I don't want them to be that long, but I'm too nice I guess! Can't resist those sweet little faces!
