forgot to tell you of my great yard sale find on the weekend, I bought books 1 to 9 of "The Spirit Of Christmas" printed from 1987 to 1995.. Creative holiday ideas put out by Leisure Arts. All hard cover.
Also a hard cover copy of "Santa Remembered" 1989, which is a book full of old pictures of Santa that have cross stitch patterns for each one, I plan to make a couple of those.
The last is "Treasury of Christmas, Crafts and Foods " by better homes and gardens1980, also hard cover. Some great looking crafts and yummy recipes in this one.
I got the whole box full for only $5 !
Lots of great reading for awhile here.

Good morning MMC! Happy hump/Pines/WednesDAY! It's a scorcher today! I guess I'm glad to be in the office, in the AC....with my jacket on. Lol!
I pulled weeds in the garden last night. WOW was it hot. I pulled an over-stuffed wheelbarrow full & that was just from the onion patch. It was way too hot, so I went home for a few hours hoping it would cool off. I went back last night - the sun wasn't beating down anymore, but I was still over heating. My sister met me there & we pulled another over-stuffed wheelbarrow full...and it barely looks like we touched the weeds. All that darn rain - we couldn't keep up. What a mess! I may go back after work & pull a few more tonight. MAYBE My hands are so stained.

I made a new recipe for supper last night - chicken noodle casserole - and then my hubby calls & says he doesn't want anything hot for supper! So I decided to stick it in the fridge & bake it tonight. If he doesn't want anything hot again tonight, I'll bring it to Mom! (if it's any good)

No real changes, or improvements. He is still having trouble with memory, and confused on various things. He is having trouble walking, too. So many questions, and not a lot of answers. Just waiting on an update, to see if they plan to release him this week.

I forgot to say earlier that almost all of the school districts around Indianapolis have gone back to school already. My old district went back on monday. Crazy!!! It's not even August yet. We never went back to the third week of August when I was in school. I would work at the scout camp until the end of July and then go off to a boy scout national conference the first week of August. Then would still have a week to get ready for school.

That is crazy!!!
