back to work today and it is going to be scorching hot the next few days with the humidex predicted to go as high as 42c (107f).
News reporting that there are still people who take their dogs with them to the store then leave them in the car while they shop. Will people never learn!?

Hey Ryan! Gracie seems to do be doing super! She's her "normal" crazy self! But she's on 4 medicines, so it may be the meds making her feel good. She goes in for another blood test Aug 11th. Praying things are good! xx She says Happy Birthday to you!!

I'm praying for her! A Gracie pic would be a great birthday present.

The problem is the words "insurance" and "quick" really don't go along together to well, unless it is the insurance company trying to get you out of the hospital.

Thanks, Buddy!!! It sounds like the first machine they tried her on last night will work. They just had to mess with the pressure's some. Now we just have to wait for their report and for her insurance to approve it. Which who knows how long that will take.

I should probably say that I'm finally going to bed and call the hour of sleep I got last night the nap. LOL!!!

Stay cool, Buddy!!!!! I'll see what I can do about stealing all of those storms and bringing them down here!!!!

Our vet has a recording on their machine when you call in there & your on hold reminding people that unless they are brining their dog to the vet, the dog will be happier at home than waiting in the car.

Why would anyone want to brine their dog before bringing them to the vet?

Tuesday hello, and thinking of everyone this morning, as usual.

We're in for our first heat wave of the season---90F and up into the weekend. (I know those of you who have already been struggling with the heat are thinking, "Poor baby!")

Definitely a hot one today, I mowed in this heat, quite a bit yucky.

I want to thank all who prayed for Gloria Jean in the past month, because our prayers have been answered. She's doing well and expected to go home in about a week. Yesterday the rehab hospital staged a big gathering for the patients and staff, where she spoke about her Hollywood career and answered questions. I have a website dedicated to her, and they showed that to the audience. They even gave Gloria a certificate of recognition for "bringing joy to our kupuna [grandparents/ honored elders]." We're so grateful that she will be going home happy and healthy, and are praying that we can visit her next summer, when she'll be 90, bless her.

forgot to tell you of my great yard sale find on the weekend, I bought books 1 to 9 of "The Spirit Of Christmas" printed from 1987 to 1995.. Creative holiday ideas put out by Leisure Arts. All hard cover.
Also a hard cover copy of "Santa Remembered" 1989, which is a book full of old pictures of Santa that have cross stitch patterns for each one, I plan to make a couple of those.
The last is "Treasury of Christmas, Crafts and Foods " by better homes and gardens1980, also hard cover. Some great looking crafts and yummy recipes in this one.
I got the whole box full for only $5 !
Lots of great reading for awhile here.

Good evening,

All caught up, 20+ pages behind takes a long time to get through. I did sleep well last night, woke up at 930 this morning, which is rare for me. I got the mowing done this morning and then spent the rest of the day in front of the AC.
Back to work tomorrow, so I should get to sleep.
