For all my fall longing friends, I thought I would share (not to rub it in, but) I went home for lunch & walked to the mailbox & I was thinking I could use a long sleeve shirt. It feels & looks like FALL today!

Then I come back to work & the owner of the business next door is outside mowing lawn....in long pants & wind suit jacket! (I wasn't ready to see that yet!)

Also - in my mailbox today was the Sept/Oct issue of Taste of Home.... Weeknight Comfort: stews & chili, Harvest Specials: Pumpkin, Apple & Cranberry. Make ahead tailgate party. Hmmm - fall must be coming, ready or not!!!

To my knowledge no one has spoken to the dog's owners about this. It's just something I guess we thought they would have been a little more attentive to. However it is clear with this recent attack that if they've done anything it's been very little. I'm going to speak to my friend next door (her husband came to our aid yesterday) and see if they would like to file a complaint along with me. If not I still will. Something obviously needs to be done before someone gets hurt, up til now we've all just been very fortunate.

He is having a hard time getting around, and his sleep schedule is off with the new meds- very lonely too.

I know that he misses my Mother-in-law so much. With his health issues, he can't travel and do what he loves.

Thank God for Rusty, his dog.

Awe sorry to hear he’s struggling! That would be tough. I’m glad he has Rusty. Prayers for him & you all!

My granddaughter thinks exactly like me! She asked if I could play, Christmas Store, with her. She is setting up shop now and I plan to go and buy Christmas goodies from her. I will report back and let you know what great Christmas items I get! She just handed me a "debit card" and play money to use. Ha ha!

My grandson wanted to go out front and play basketball. I warned him that his basketball will melt. Lol! He stepped out front and didn't make it down the front porch steps and came right back in. He said, "Why does it have to be so hot"?!!!! I so wish I was up there to enjoy the coolness! It's okay, we will cool down in a couple of months.
