I remember the days of having sleepovers at my friend's house. A bunch of us girls staying up all night playing games, talking, eating junk. What fun! I bet she had a good time!

Here's mine and my hubby's planning. I ask, "what do you want to do"? His response, "I don't care, whatever you want to do"? Then I say, "Okay, let's watch paint dry". He would say, "Sounds good to me"! I am always in charge of plans but would LOVE to have his input sometime. Ha ha!

How is Harlowe doing today?

I was just going to text you! Let me start by saying ...She did have a few good hours last night, even saw her tail wag a few times.
But then she had a few rough hours, as well. She seems to get pretty upset after the ointment. But there is no bad reaction around the wound area, and the vet says it's not supposed to hurt or burn. I think she is just very sensitive, and feels vulnerable right now because it is quite large and that area is exposed. We are giving her a lot of love and attention though-hopefully the antibiotics will kick in quickly.

Good Saturday morning MMC!

I've been dreading this day all week because of all the cleaning I'll be doing. Not in my home but the home of my neighbor's. I clean her home once a month while she and her husband
are at their beach house for the weekend. I also clean her elderly father's home too and even though his home is larger than hers its easier to clean. Once I'm done with cleaning I plan to make a dinner of salmon cakes, mashed potatoes and asparagus for the girls and I. I also have to make a side dish for the farewell dinner our church is holding tomorrow for two congregation families who are relocating. While I want to attend I'm sort of regretting signing up for go with a everything we have to do before our morning flight out Monday to Florida. But I'm a woman who stands by her commitments, if I've said yes then I'm gonna do my best to keep my word.

I don't care much for cleaning; it takes away from my "play time", I can't imagine cleaning for someone else. Once I get going though, I work pretty steady until the chore is done. I have dust allergies and a bit of reaction to O'Malley's dander so I wear a dust filter mask and gloves if I'm working with cleaning products. I look a bit like Darth Vader as far as the cat is concerned.
It's hard to squeeze so many things into a weekend especially when you're planning to get away. I'm sure the families who are leaving will really appreciate you being there.

Good Morning! Looks like we are going to have beautiful weather for this entire weekend; sunny and high's in the mid 80's Although, I am very partial for the 50-70 degree range, I'll still take it. Wow, Saturday already, hmmmmm, this weekend's plans, not sure yet entirely, I just have some ideas to do some little things in the house and maybe get to some landscaping stuff done on the outside. I would actually like to have a date day with the wife today, since she has been working every weekend and this weekend, she is off. So, maybe I'll leave the planning up to her, and give her the opportunity to do things that she would like to do.....
Not that I don't do that on a regular basis (LOL!!!!)......

My husband and I enjoy most of the same things so choosing what to do is pretty easy. He's been retired for years so he gets pretty bored when I'm working. I was planning on cleaning the balcony and windows, but there has been a run on the bird feeder this morning so I don't want to interfere with their snacking time. (Good excuse, eh!) I'll get it done though, but whenever I clean the sliding doors they're so clear that at least one bird seems to smack right into it.

P.S. Still can't do my balcony chores another woodpecker just landed and that means the Pileated Woodpecker should be along soon and I don't want to miss him. He's amazing to watch.

Good Morning, MMC!!! Sunny and 86 predicted for here today. I may go see my niece's later if my sister doesn't have any thing going on today. It's been almost 2 weeks since I've seen them.
