I had this game some years ago that I enjoyed playing:
It came with a VHS tape that you ran while playing the game and the host would give prompts and instructions. I don't remember much about it but remember it was fun.

The VCR was awesome
I remember when we got our first one for a few hundred dollars! And that was a few hundred in 1985 money! Now you can buy a blu-ray player for under $50 many places. Or just stream movies.Yep, don't you feel old?! Ha ha!
