AWESOME thank you xmas365!!! I called my family last night and told them about the Charlie Brown Christmas Special-50 years. My mom couldn't believe it! This is so exciting that the specialized threads are beginning to pop up for this year!!

Thanks snowflake!! Good morning! I actually wasn't thinking about how tomorrow is Friday and was just thinking about how I'd plow through today...so your posts are super helpful and brightened my morning! :) Thank you very much!
 
Good morning all, and Happy Friday Eve! (thanks to snowflake for the reminder!)

Just another day of work. I think a friend is going to come over tonight and we're going to run about a mile to see how she does. Then, we're going to watch football, because my football team (Washington) is playing Cleveland tonight in their first preseason game, and I'm excited about it! This is a surefire sign to me that fall is riiiiiiight around the corner! Helps me put up with this heat...we're creeping back up into the 90s by the end of this week, but hopefully this is one of the last times! I'm ready for some fall weather! Have a great day!

Well, it was quite nice here yesterday. Lower temps, reduced humidity, no rain and only gentle breezes.
About as good as it gets here in the South in August!
We see 67 degrees here in the capital city at this hour.

We had a busy day, didn't make it to see Vacation, the plans fell through.
I got my small bookshelf built for my Christmas books, and we went to a new-ish frozen yogurt place for a mid-afternoon treat.
Back to work in the a.m. I have just to get through tomorrow and Friday and then 9 days off in a row for the second time in a month, looking forward to a relaxing vacation since my last one we were go go go the whole week.
