Merry Evening All,

Hope you all had a nice weekend. Christmas is starting to creep in. Debenhams brought out some wrapping paper and cards and some left over clearance decorations from last year. I managed to grab some candy canes that were a bargain. I really wanted them last year so it was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon them and at 70%off!!!! Mum and I have been talking so much about Christmas. I hope we can spend one together sometime.

Went to the museum with the kids today. It was wonderful. We spend hours there and didn't even realise it! Our favourite was the huge dinosaur reconstruction and mummies! So much there though.

Ok well hope you all are enjoying the summer. Make the most of it before the cold rolls in ! Then again for some of you with hot summers, cooler weather will be welcomed I'm sure

Sometimes after a long day, that perhaps was not the best day, watching A Christmas Carol is the best medicine. So, I watched A Christmas Carol (George C. Scott's version). I am now in a better mood.

Tough day. Just returned home from moving our son back to college. House is very quiet. He is settled in and ready for classes to start Wednesday. As I've said before, August is my least favorite month; tired of hot humid weather and kids go back to school/college.
On the bright side, I'm now ready to count down the days until Chistmas (and Ethan being home for a month)!

I hope today is a better day!!! Christmas break will be here before you know it! (crazy, but true) Thinking about ya'll & sending (((hugs)))

Good evening,

This is my first time here since Friday night, I don't miss many days here but we have been go go go the last few days. We have only been home for sleep and that is it. We had a great time with the family that came down from Canada, we tried to spend as much time as possible with them since this was the first time we have seen some of them since our wedding 13 years ago.
I have 428 posts to get caught up on, and I think I will do it tomorrow so I don't stay up too late tonight.

Day 2 of the busiest two weeks of the year--and moving quickly along! Sliced my finger open yesterday cooking breakfast, but I'm doing better today. Enjoying a nice sunrise. My husband is using his new birthday gift, a watch for running, as he trains for the marathon and does his run while I catch up here. He's doing great!!

I've got a calmer day today and get to work from home and my second job this afternoon, which just means time alone in a cubicle--I'm actually looking forward to it because it's not 20 loud teenagers looking at me asking me questions like at band camp yesterday!

It's going to be another hot and humid day, with a chance of showers. Not too much going on here today, I need to run to the supermarket for a few things this morning. I'll probably take a ride to Target as well, I have a list of things that we need. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house.

Today will be another hot, humid day with a rain shower somewhere in the mix. Seems to be the average weather pattern in Florida. We have plans to hit Magic Kingdom again and i hope this time Lizzybeth will ride either Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain.

(Hmmm...........perhaps it may not be so easy to remain calm after all.)

Definitely warmer and more humid yesterday.
Today should be about 10 degrees cooler, but it is supposed to come with rain which could continue off and on for the balance of the week.
Right now, we have started off at 78 degrees here, and we've already had a slight sprinkle or two.
