Good Morning!

Carl wishes to announce it is 'Pines Day.
I told him everyone already knows that but he insisted so there, I announced it.
More about today's open house below.

First, on with the count:
Days to the Season: 86
Days to Christmas Day: 128

Under a week away now from our next Milestone, the 2/3 marker to Christmas Day.
Yes, you read that right -- UNDER a single week away.
And at that point, we will enter the FINAL THIRD of our Christmas Day count.
(Wowzers!)

After a brief venture back into the heart of Summer on Monday, yesterday saw an improvement although it came accompanied by rain.
Today should be wet too, but fortunately I got the lawn mowed yesterday before the rain came.
Today has dawned at 75 degrees here in the capital city of the great state of North Carolina and it looks like rain.

OK. 'Pines Day is here again.
Carl is starting to feel frisky since we are just 13 days away from the start of the 'bers. Not only that, but he is aware that the Christmas Blossoms thread makes its annual appearance next month.
In recognition of this, Carl has set up a virtual gallery in the main hall at the 'Pines of every Blossoms photo which has appeared here at MMC over the years. Thousands of photos!
(You don't want to miss this visit........or the fired twinkies!)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks
Thank you, Crown!
Looking forward to that virtual Blossoms gallery. Bless that crazy camel!
Have a great day~

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines/WednesDAY!!

I took Gracie to the vet last night for her blood pressure reading & she did great. I couldn't believe how still she laid for us so they could get 5 readings. She was all fired up, panting like crazy but her BP was a little on the low side, but not TOO low, so they probably won't change a thing & we'll re-test again in 3 months. I'm sure it would have been lower if they could take it at home when she is in her relaxed state, but as long as she's doing good, we'll go with it! The specialist is supposed to be giving us a call after she see's the readings.

After we got home I mixed up a batch of Peach Salsa & then realized I didn't have any brown sugar, so I'll have to cook it tonight after I get some. I also made another batch of fresh salsa & then started mowing lawn around 7:45 & I realized it's not going to be long & 7:45 will be too late to start mowing ~ it was getting dark on me! Boooo! Then I threw together a pot roast in the crock pot for tonight since I get my hair cut/color at 6:45 & I have salsa to cook. Busy coupla days! ;)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday everyone!!! I'm off to catch up on here!
:gifty

I'm glad Gracie got an encouraging check up!

Well, it's finally here; the last day of our vacation. I'm hoping to take Lizzybeth to the pool one last time because she's been asking but there just hasn't been enough time in each day after returning from the parks or late dinners. Our flight back home isn't until 5:30pm so disney will take us back to the airport. I do love the fact that Disney picks you up from the airport and takes you back as well.

We have had a wonderful vacation but after ten days with Mickey and friends we're just ready to return to home and our normal routine. However, the girls really won't get much of a chance to rest because they will board a bus to travel to NYC to visit their dad.
He gets them every other weekend and he's eager to show them the new house he and his fiancee just moved into. They won't be home until next Monday which I'm not thrilled about because it's the night before their first day of school but since he really didn't get the chance to get them for an extended amount of time this summer due to conflicting schedules all around i agreed to the day before and the day after his scheduled time. It will give me a chance to go grocery shopping and catch up on laundry, not to mention it gives mummy a few days to recover from the vacation.

Hope everyone is having a good week so far and Happy Pines Day!

Enjoy your last day of vacation, friend!
Safe travels back home.
Hope the girls have a nice time with their Dad.
And I hope that you can relax some, too, and have time to catch up around the house as well.
I bet Buttercup will be so excited to have you home!
Happy Pines Day!

Good morning, Brad! Ouch - sorry to hear about your toe! Hope you feel better soon! That's nice of you to go visit Bernie! I'm sure he is lonely without Mrs. Hilda being there - hope she and Nancy's sister have a great time and safe travels!

Congrats on the win on eBay! I bet it will look great in the Camaro!

Hope you have a great day!

Thanks! It's a chrome B&M racing shifter. It's awesome!

Yup, I'm still part of the dumb phone crowd as well, so your not alone. I'm resisting the smart phone, only because I am afraid that once I get one, I will like it, and then I will be hooked. I can see myself loosing more and more of my internet free world.....Just a personal choice! I like sometimes, not to know what is going on in the world, everyone's life, if someone is taking a selfie while sitting in the out-house (LOL! Just being sarcastic)! Sometimes, ignorance is bliss....
Ha! Truth! TMI at times ;)

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I stubbed my pinky toe the day before yesterday, and it's still throbbing! I've been getting Nancy to doctor it for me every morning. It's hard to put on steel-toe boots with a sore toe!

I worked on my side business for a while yesterday afternoon, then we had dinner with Nancy's dad, Bernie. Mrs. Hilda went on a trip to Michigan with Nancy's sister, who's attending a conference. They won't be back till Sunday, and I think he's already lonely.

I finally won an Ebay auction! It's not the one I wanted the most, I lost that one, but this one will look pretty cool in the Camaro!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Happy Pines Day, Brad!
Hope your toe feels better- ouch!
Glad that you had a nice dinner with Bernie, I'm sure he appreciated the company.
Congrats on your Ebay win!
Have a great day :)

I always hate the last day of vacation. You can't enjoy it for feeling depressed about having to leave later! Oh well. I always take a thousand pictures on vacation, then set them up as a desktop slide show on one of my monitors here at work. It makes vacation last a lot longer!

And I think it's great that you and your ex get along so well! My niece is having a devil of a time with her ex. I'm thinking I'll have to go explain to him how a real man and father should behave.

Good Morning, Holiday~
So glad that Gracie did great for her BP reading! (((Hugs)))
Continued prayers for your sweet peanut!
Sounds like you had a busy and productive night! Good for you!
Have a blessed day~

"-- Just when you thought you had gotten over last winter, be warned: The Old Farmer's Almanac predicts it will be super cold with a slew of snow for much of the country, even in places that don't usually see too much of it, like the Pacific Northwest."

As far as I'm concerned it can start snowing in November, but I want it to be done by March!! Am I asking too much?? :D

You might, but I'll sign on for this! :p

Good morning, friends~

The storms knocked out Internet and cable last night around 7:30 pm, and it's still Out. Got to love Charter. Every time Adrian is away, strong storms occur.

No real update on my FIL, he is in a lot of pain, and they still have no idea what is going on. Please keep him & our family in your prayers.

Hope you all have a blessed day~

I hope your day improves ... not a good start on the day.

Good Morning friends! I've really been enjoying all the posts on this page and the others! The weekend is coming fast! Have a Great day everybody!
Good Morning, frostyman!
Thank God for weekends!! Hope you have a blessed day~

God Bless him is right! Mr. Sounds like such a great man!! Hope you don't have to do this for to much longer!
Thank you! I hope not, too. I've worked about 35 hours already this week, but others have worked over 40 ... and Wednesday has barely started. It's good to be busy, but then there's TOO busy!
Still, when I think of the hours xmastidings has put in, it's petty of me to complain.

We just came in from Magic Kingdom and you've never seen three more tired ladies. We're now waiting for our table for dinner and London keeps talking about going back to the room to put her pj's that i bought her that literally makes her look like a 6'1 Minnie Mouse. She looks silly but i just smile and cherish these moments cuz sooner or later she may not want to do stuff like this anymore and I'll miss this.

Lost my mobile phone in the park today
but was told it was found and in guest services so i didn't feel the need to pick it up till we were on our way out of the park. I love that ppl still turn things in to lost and found and that I'm so disconnected from the outside world that i felt no rush to retrieve it.

I think tonight I'll have a tropical drink with dinner. Wishing all of you a peaceful night.

Sounds like another great day! I'm glad you got your phone back. Hope you enjoyed a tropical drink!
