Hello everyone. I'm off again tomorrow as I always like to take the kids to school on their first day. Oh, and I just like not going to work.
Y'all have a great night!

Enjoy your day off! Hope the kids have a great 1st day of school! Kimmie will miss having them around I bet!

15 hours and counting ...
God bless Mr.! He stopped at a supermarket and showed up here at the office around 11 p.m. with enough lunchmeat, cheese, buns, chips, and soda to feed an army! (Plus a bag of Hershey miniatures for dessert! And the company is going to expense it!) And stayed to help! It was a real morale booster for the handful of us still here.

Sorry to hear you had to stay so late!!! How nice of your hubby to save the night!!! Hope you got some good sleep!! And I hope today is a better day!

Good morning, friends~

The storms knocked out Internet and cable last night around 7:30 pm, and it's still Out. Got to love Charter. Every time Adrian is away, strong storms occur.

No real update on my FIL, he is in a lot of pain, and they still have no idea what is going on. Please keep him & our family in your prayers.

Hope you all have a blessed day~

Halfway through a busy, busy week! YAHOO!

A very busy day today for me. Hope all is well for you!

See you at the pines tonight--Lord knows I need a break! Wish Valerie was going to be on while we are there!
Hope your busy day goes well!!! xx

Good morning, MMC friends and Happy Pines Day! I have a few things on the agenda for today - I need to go through the kids closest see what doesn't fit them anymore, as we're going school shopping tomorrow. Oh the joys! I also either today or tomorrow want to bake a peach cobbler. Mmm :)

As for the rest of the day, we are going to take the kids and meet one of EA's best friends and her mom's at one of the area's play areas and let them burn their energy for a while. We'll have lunch there too. Tonight then, Texas Roadhouse is doing a Back to School night, so we're going to take them there and then take the kids go Sweet Frog for dessert. It will be a busy day, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Hope you all have a great day!

Have fun today!!! Your house will smell amazing! Jim brought some fresh peaches home last night. Mmmm! Have a wonderful day sugar!

Thank you, Holiday!
I think she is bummed that Adrian has been gone so much, and probably picking up on our stress/sadness.The storms don't help, that's for sure! Thanks so much for the thoughts & prayers. They mean a lot.

xx

Good morning everyone, Happy Pines Day!
I don't have a lot of time this morning, I'm heading out soon for a dentist appointment. Just a routine cleaning today. I have a few errands to run afterward so I'll catch up here later. Keeping all of you in my thoughts.
Hope everyone has a nice day!
Have a wonderful day HMG!!

Good Morning!

Carl wishes to announce it is 'Pines Day.
I told him everyone already knows that but he insisted so there, I announced it.
More about today's open house below.

First, on with the count:
Days to the Season: 86
Days to Christmas Day: 128

Under a week away now from our next Milestone, the 2/3 marker to Christmas Day.
Yes, you read that right -- UNDER a single week away.
And at that point, we will enter the FINAL THIRD of our Christmas Day count.
(Wowzers!)

After a brief venture back into the heart of Summer on Monday, yesterday saw an improvement although it came accompanied by rain.
Today should be wet too, but fortunately I got the lawn mowed yesterday before the rain came.
Today has dawned at 75 degrees here in the capital city of the great state of North Carolina and it looks like rain.

OK. 'Pines Day is here again.
Carl is starting to feel frisky since we are just 13 days away from the start of the 'bers. Not only that, but he is aware that the Christmas Blossoms thread makes its annual appearance next month.
In recognition of this, Carl has set up a virtual gallery in the main hall at the 'Pines of every Blossoms photo which has appeared here at MMC over the years. Thousands of photos!
(You don't want to miss this visit........or the fired twinkies!)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks

Very exciting! Thanks Crown!!! :D See ya at the Pines!

Well, it's finally here; the last day of our vacation. I'm hoping to take Lizzybeth to the pool one last time because she's been asking but there just hasn't been enough time in each day after returning from the parks or late dinners. Our flight back home isn't until 5:30pm so disney will take us back to the airport. I do love the fact that Disney picks you up from the airport and takes you back as well.

We have had a wonderful vacation but after ten days with Mickey and friends we're just ready to return to home and our normal routine. However, the girls really won't get much of a chance to rest because they will board a bus to travel to NYC to visit their dad.
He gets them every other weekend and he's eager to show them the new house he and his fiancee just moved into. They won't be home until next Monday which I'm not thrilled about because it's the night before their first day of school but since he really didn't get the chance to get them for an extended amount of time this summer due to conflicting schedules all around i agreed to the day before and the day after his scheduled time. It will give me a chance to go grocery shopping and catch up on laundry, not to mention it gives mummy a few days to recover from the vacation.

Hope everyone is having a good week so far and Happy Pines Day!

Sounds like you will need to rest from vacation! Lol! Have a wonderful day & a safe trip home! I hope the girls have a safe trip & a nice time at their dads & you can enjoy a little relaxation while they are gone!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I stubbed my pinky toe the day before yesterday, and it's still throbbing! I've been getting Nancy to doctor it for me every morning. It's hard to put on steel-toe boots with a sore toe!

I worked on my side business for a while yesterday afternoon, then we had dinner with Nancy's dad, Bernie. Mrs. Hilda went on a trip to Michigan with Nancy's sister, who's attending a conference. They won't be back till Sunday, and I think he's already lonely.

I finally won an Ebay auction! It's not the one I wanted the most, I lost that one, but this one will look pretty cool in the Camaro!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
Congrats on the ebay win! Sorry about your toe! OUCH! Crazy how a little pinky toe can hurt so much! Hope it's better soon! Nice of you to have dinner with Bernie! I'm sure he appreciated that. Have a great day Brad!!

Good Morning friends! I've really been enjoying all the posts on this page and the others! The weekend is coming fast! Have a Great day everybody!
Good morning frostyman! Hope you have a great day!

Awesome! Bring that peach cobbler! :D

That's what I've heard too!
I'm the same way you are - I would love for it to just stop by the end of March too, but we all know it never will...blah!
Maybe if we start sweet talking mother nature now...
