Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good evening everyone. Just getting in from another long day.... Hope all is well, I'm going to try and read some posts tonight, if I can stay awake that long.

News for the night, Our brand new Toyota Rave was in an accident today. Yup, had an accident all by itself, no driver in it and it was locked and parked in a parking lot. So, how can that happen? Well, according to the police, a very, very, very elderly lady hit five parked cars trying to park her car. Our vehicle is not too bad, but the Mercedes that got pushed into our car, had to get towed away. Yes, it was parked in front of our car. That little old lady, hit that Mercedes so hard, that she pushed it into our Toyota and our bumper is partially off.... I felt bad for her, because she had to go to the emergency room, and after taking out five cars, they will probably take her license away from her. Where did all of this take place? In a hospital parking lot....... go figure!!!

Having to throw away all that meat is terrible. That's enough to make a grown man cry....

No, he has been having more health issues in the past few months.
He's been in & out of the hospital, and they're still trying to figure out what's going on.
He has confusion, memory loss, pain, etc. He will hopefully have an MRI today.
Thanks for asking.

Praying you all get some answers and your FIL makes a full recovery very soon. Good luck with the MRI today. This must be so tough on him as well the rest of you. Keep courage xxx

Har & I may go spend time with my parents, they've both had outpatient surgeries in the past few weeks, and I could really use some quality time with them.

Wow that's so beautiful and moving. I love sunflowers, they are my favourite. I like the fact that they grow toward the sun . It reminds me to always look on the bright side.

I didn't realise your parents had surgery. I hope they are doing better now and recovering well. Keeping them in my prayers. Sounds like you are having quite a challenging time. Please look after yourselves, both you and Adrian. Have a lovely time visiting your parents, I know you will.

Good evening, everyone!

I just finished watching the Packers final preseason game. Boy, I am glad I am not the only responsible for the final cuts. 22 players must be cut for the final 53, and the final seven or eight cuts have me stumped! Either way, they all should be proud of the way they played and I hope they find jobs elsewhere, if not with the Packers.

Not much new from today. I am currently training for a 10km race in mid-October. A friend of mine convinced me to join her race team. I haven't done a 10km race since high school. We'll see how it goes. Anyway, I went for a 8.5km run and should be doing 8-11km runs at least three times per week now (on top of 3 times at the gym)...

Nice to see the countdown continue to decrease. Seeing it hit 70 Days to the Season will be nice tomorrow. And, of course, seeing us jump into the 60s on Saturday will be swell.

It is bed time shortly. I hope you all have had a great Thursday! Enjoy yourselves tomorrow. The long/holiday weekend is almost here!

They actually pushed up the MRI last night, and decided a spinal tap was necessary too.

There's been truly too much going on at once around here, but my parents surgeries were outpatient & went well. Thank God.
Dad has another cataract surgery coming up, too. He's already seeing better in the one eye.
Thanks! I am not sure what the weekend plan will be, in light of Ken's tests. If Adi will be closer to home, I'll stay here to support him. But if he travels, Har & I will travel to my folks.
