Updated my Christmas card list today, signed up for the card exchange, found I have more cards already than I thought I had, and even found a bunch of Christmas "Forever" stamps. Started to organize my shopping list. Oh, yeah, it's getting closer every day!

We have been very busy the last few days, I didn't even have time to get here on Saturday. I have the next two days off due to the holiday. I am planning to go see Vacation tomorrow, all by my lonesome, every time I made plans to see it it fell through, so this is probably my last chance so I will go by myself to the movies since for the first time since 1997 when I saw The Lost World:Jurassic Park.
I am going to retire for the night, just can't keep my eyes open.

More humid yesterday but not too bad. After all, it is still officially Summer and will be so for another two weeks.
This AM has commenced at 74 degrees in the central sector of North Carolina.

I have some work to do today. I can't seem to focus these days so will have to make an effort. I would like to try and fit in some housework today if I can. The children's wardrobe needs sorting out. They are growing too fast. Seems like I only just boxed up some of their stuff for the charity shop and here we are again! Isaac and I may go the park again. He starts Nursery school on Thursday so making the most of our last couple days at home.

First day of school here so a lot of parents and kids running around getting ready.
Got my Block Parent sign out, do not have to be at work until 9:30 today.

Checking out recipes for thanksgiving, it is only 5 weeks away so I better get moving on that.

Still going to be quite warm the rest of the week, but not the extreme heat we have been having.

Good morning everyone, Happy Tuesday!
I've been cleaning bathrooms for the past couple of hours. Fun, fun, fun. Taking a quick coffee break before I get back to cleaning. I need to head to the supermarket this morning as well to pick up a few things.
My daughter officially starts her new job today, I'm praying she loves it.
And my hubby took down all of my Fall decorations over the weekend so I'll finally start to decorate this afternoon!
That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Happy Tuesday friends!! Hope you are all having a great start to your day. I definitely have some Christmas music on the agenda today. It is going to be so hot in the mid 90's. Some schools are closing early. Three of our 4 schools have air but my oldest daughter in middle school, they do not so I am sure the classrooms are going to be so hot. I sent her with a few bottles of water and told her to make sure she drinks them!
