Good morning MMC
::wave
Hope everybody is surviving there Monday wherever you may be..!
Good morning MsRose!!! Have a great Monday!

I was hoping it was the alternator. Something under the hood has been whining for a while, and if replacing the alternator fixed the sound and the weak battery, super! Alas, Jim said the alternator is working perfectly. Oh well.

Wow! 11 days off during the holidays is great! I'm doing that, too, but I have to save up my vacation time to do it. Going up to Mgramsey's neck of the woods! :D

I wish I knew more about cars other than how to drive mine :).
Yeah we have to use a few PTO days to get the time but I'm more than fine with that. I'm just glad they are closing the office. I just feel like people should be with their families that week more than any other.

Good morning everyone, Happy Monday!
I'm really dragging my feet today, I need to get moving soon. Typical day of errands and chores. My FIL's birthday is next week so I'm going to pick up a card & gift today. I also need to run to Target for a few things. Back home afterward to work on daily chores and get my workout over with. I'll pop back in when I can. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Everyone drags their feet a little on Mondays. Luckily, for me every other Monday is busy for me so it forces me not to drag much. Have a good day!

I know what you mean. When I went to lunch on Friday, my truck wouldn't crank. A co-worked jumped me off, and I went to my brother's shop. Completely dead battery. $115 later I'm cranking again, but I wanted to spend that money on the Camaro!

Too bad about the battery. Glad it was an easy enough fix. Hey I kept meaning to ask about that camaro. Hope it's coming along well.

We headed out to the Christmas store over the weekend to pick up our tree, brought it home and set it up immediately to test out the lights and make sure everything was working properly. My son came home from work and wasn't phased by it and my dad came by and nonchalantly asked if that will be where we plan to set it up this year. Neither one knew we just bought a tree or asked "why is your tree up so early"? They just know me so well they were not in the least bit surprised as to why it was up in September! Ha ha!!! Then as we were planning to take it down my son asked why we were taking it down and thinks we should just stay up. I think I agree with him but it came down anyway, I have a lot of fall decorations to enjoy for now!

Hope it all worked great! I bet it looks beautiful!

Sorry to hear about the car Festive. It's always something, isn't it?
I heard about NASA's announcement on the news this morning and I'm totally curious!

Good morning Made!!!
Hope you have a great day too!!!

Thanks HMG! It sure is!

Water on Mars ! Amazing news to have it confirmed. Wow. We live in extraordinary times. So glad to witness an important part of history.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Boy, it's a yucky, humid morning! I work in an office trailer outside the main office, and it's obviously not as airtight as it should be. Everything is a little sticky in here. Blech.

I got Jacob's hunting plot planted yesterday, and it looks pretty good, if I do say so myself. I put the camera on a tree, too. Now I need to go back with some corn and a mineral block and put them in front of the camera to see how many pictures I can get. I swear, I'd rather get a good picture of a huge buck, than to bag the real thing LOL.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

I can't wait to hear what the camera picks up! Hope the humidity improves, that must be very uncomfortable especially to work in! Have a great day!

A dreary Monday morning will make you have the blues if you let it but this time of year it just feels like the anticipation of the holidays coming overrides them.
Oh yeah, this is the first year my office decided to close Christmas through New Years. I will be off for 11 days which is the longest vacation I've had for the holidays since 2007. I always take off Xmas Eve...because well duh...it's Xmas Eve and for me at least that's the biggest day of the year by far and I've never ever worked that day. But usually I go back a few days after Christmas to work a few days and then have another long weekend for New Years. But this year...11 days...Dec 23 I will leave early and not return to work till Jan 4th.
Hope everyone's Monday is going ok...

Great news! It is the best time to be off!

Good luck finding the perfect present! Have a good work out and hope you get everything done today with time left over to relax.

"Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself.

Peace on Earth, good will to men,
kind thoughts and words of cheer,
are things we should use often
and not just once a year.

Remember too the Christ-child, grew up to be a man;
to hide him in a cradle, is not our dear Lord’s plan.
So keep the Christmas spirit, share it with others far and near,
from week to week and month to month, throughout the entire year!"

Haha they know you too well. Shame it has to come down but it allows to enjoy your fall decor and then you get to put it up all over again! Two tree days ! yaaay!

Hi Everyone ... I so miss coming here ... We have been extremely busy packing as we have 11 days until we move and our daughter's birthday is later this week. I will be so glad once we move in and get things unpacked and settled then I can start getting ready for the holidays :) This beautiful fall weather has me chomping at the bit to decorate for fall, burn my fall scented tarts and do some major baking but almost everything is packed up. For now I just have to settle for apple cider and pumpkin flavored coffee.

Last week we lost a neighbor at the other end of our street. We really didn't know each other with the exception of Christmas. She went all out for Christmas .. decorating big at that end of the street. Well her service was over the weekend and her family paid her a nice tribute this weekend too. They decorated her house for Christmas one last time (from Friday night to Sunday night). We walked the kids down there Saturday night to look at the lights, blow ups and blow-molds that they had out and on. It was extremely nice and humble.

Hope everyone has a great day.
