Cold and rainy here as well. I actually put the heat on this morning to take the chill out of the air.

We had such a nice summer...so much sun shine and warm temps. One of the nicest summers I can remember. But this week really is making up for it because I don't think that I've seen the sun in almost a full week now.

We have the sunshine, but Highwinds and it was 34° when I got up this morning. Feels more like we went straight into winter.

But it's going to reach about 60° today!

Love the chilly temps, but I don't want to skip Fall over.

Yeah hoping we see some nice days still in October and November. A few years ago we had snow on Halloween and last year we had it on Thanksgiving Eve. I'm hoping this year it holds off a while and we get it ON Christmas Day. That would be really awesome.

Merry Saturday! Finally! Saturday!!
Last night as I lay waiting for sleep, I could feel the weight of this entire week. When I remembered I would be waking up to saturday though, I fell asleep with warm, cosy contentment.

This past week has been so hectic. I have no plans for today except for cups of tea and a a big english breakfast.

Thank you---feeling better today! I think it was pain medication I took for some dental work that made me feel sick.

It's funny (as in ironic) a few years ago I had been neglecting going to the dentist for several years (just out of stupidity and I guess a little fear). I went and the dentist told me one of my very back teeth were infected and he said it could have spread to my entire body and I could have gotten very sick. I had to go to a surgeon to extract it. The thing is when I went to the surgeon's office the nurse looked at my xray and said "wow you must be in so much pain." I told her honestly I don't feel anything. I'm not sure why but I was supposed to be in terrible pain based on the xrays yet I never knew anything was wrong. And after the surgery they gave me some medication and told me I might be in pain for a week or longer. Within 24 hours I felt back to normal and fine. I guess everyone's body deals with things differently.
Besides my long-winded story I hope you feel better.

Thanks - no luck with the birthday gifts today, but at least I found some cards. I guess I'll grab them both some music CDs if nothing else jumps out tomorrow. I always wind up getting them clothes or a book or something for their cars. They never give me any hints. Got everything for my soup and I'll make that tomorrow and we can taste some for lunch.
