Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines/MILESTONE/WednesDAY!!! We have FOG this morning!! All the schools are delayed! Funny how those spider webs really show up in shrubs when it's foggy out. Creepy!!!! Of course I passed my Mom on the road this morning, heading to her water aerobics class at the Y! Heaven forbid she misses that!! (we have always told her if the schools are delayed, she doesn't need to be driving to the Y....she listens well! :p)

Last night for supper I made the recipe HMG posted for Chicken Pot Pie. It was very good! Thanks HMG! :) I will drop a couple slices off for Mom after work today! I think she will really like it!
Have a wonderful day MMC!!!

Good morning Holiday!
Happy Pine's Day!
Happy Milestone Day!
Hope that fog burns off and everyone stays safe. That makes me so nervous.
I'm glad you enjoyed the chicken pot pie. Oh my, now I'm craving it. It's so good.
Hope you have a wonderful day as well! :)

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

OK, Folks.
Ready or not, we have just -- as of this very day -- entered the FINAL TEN PERCENT OF OUR QUEST FOR CHRISTMAS SEASON 2015!!
The HOME STRETCH has begun!

Carl knows it.
(Boy, does he know it!)
More below.

Days to the Season: 37
Days to Christmas Day: 79

Hey, Hey, Hey!
Whaddu you say!
The sun shown here for the whole darn day!

I refer to yesterday. An end to 12 days of rain at last.
Whew!
Now, nice weather is predicted for the entire remainder of the week.
(Won't THAT be great!)
We have commenced things at 58 degrees here in our little part of the MMC Nation.

Allrighty. Pines Day!
It falls not only on a MILESTONE DAY but on the 10-percent-of-the-count-left marker.
Carl, aware of this of course, is working that into tonight's theme, which is "Stretching for Home". All of the details are not yet finalized, but Carl has revealed that there will be a lottery. In recognition of reaching the 10 percent mark, the winning drawer will get 10 complimentary fired twinkies among other prizes.
That's fine, but I'm not too sure about this "stretching" for home business. Sounds a bit risky(?)
Regardless, I'll be there -- but with my eyes open.
(Always sound advise for any visit to the 'Pines when Carl is feeling frisky.)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!

Thank you Crown!
Happy Milestone Day!
So exciting!!!

Thank you so much Festive!
Maggie is as finicky as Harlowe, she turns her nose up to everything too. Sometimes we have luck with the pill pockets. But like I've mentioned before, we have to do cartwheels to get her to eat them. I could barely put ear drops in Maggie a couple of weeks ago. I had to sneak up on her when she was sleeping and she still tried to bite my fingers off.
I guess it's my fault for spoiling her all of these years.

I understand completely. It is really hard, not to mention frustrating for you. You want them to feel well but they don't always cooperate! I really hope both maggie and harlowe improve very soon. Hang in there , they are lucky to have owners like you and Stacey who care for them so much.

Thank you, Holiday~
She was resting, so that is good. But, she wouldn't eat, drink, or take anything to help her. I couldn't even get her to come outside with me, I think she is feeling pretty miserable.
I'm hoping to see improvement by the time I go home at lunch <3
Yeah that sucks...and it's interesting how fussy Harlowe is about eating. If Nitro ever didn't want to eat I think I'd worry because that's the way he is. You can bribe him with food if it's anything he likes. Guess just like me.

so Carl tells me he is going all out this year to celebrate our Canadian thanksgiving. He claims to have researched it and knows exactly what we Canadians eat and do on our special day. I will not be missing this party at the pines tomorrow. Really want to see what he comes up with.
Carl's also getting in the Halloween spirit, too!

We were up all night. She is finally resting, thankfully. She is very anxious, nauseous, shaking, sick in each way possible. Poor girl-so hard to see her like this. I tried to give her something to settle her stomach, but she won't take it. I even tried to force it gently, but she just spits it out.
I will come home at lunch to check on her. I'm so glad Adrian is home today.
Bless her heart! I know it's scary. I hope she's feeling better today!

So sorry! My little Meca tends to go through these episodes and they are so scary but seem to pass within 24 hours then she is fine. Hopefully Harlowe will perk up quickly! Praying!
Thank You, I'm hoping & praying too!
Hugs to Meca, hope she is having a good week~
