wow, am I ever sore and achy tonight...all those turkeys being rung through are so heavy and cold ! Back at it again tomorrow, I think I am going to insist people leave them in the cart and I will come around and hand scan them instead.
But now, I am going to curl up with a book and relax.
I know what you mean with those big birds, my first delivery comes in next week. Be careful with them, I have hurt myself so many times by dropping them on my hands, feet, and crushing fingers between 2 of them. I carry a bottle of Aleve with me at all times during November.

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

OK, Folks.
Ready or not, we have just -- as of this very day -- entered the FINAL TEN PERCENT OF OUR QUEST FOR CHRISTMAS SEASON 2015!!
The HOME STRETCH has begun!

Carl knows it.
(Boy, does he know it!)
More below.

Days to the Season: 37
Days to Christmas Day: 79

Hey, Hey, Hey!
Whaddu you say!
The sun shown here for the whole darn day!

I refer to yesterday. An end to 12 days of rain at last.
Whew!
Now, nice weather is predicted for the entire remainder of the week.
(Won't THAT be great!)
We have commenced things at 58 degrees here in our little part of the MMC Nation.

Allrighty. Pines Day!
It falls not only on a MILESTONE DAY but on the 10-percent-of-the-count-left marker.
Carl, aware of this of course, is working that into tonight's theme, which is "Stretching for Home". All of the details are not yet finalized, but Carl has revealed that there will be a lottery. In recognition of reaching the 10 percent mark, the winning drawer will get 10 complimentary fired twinkies among other prizes.
That's fine, but I'm not too sure about this "stretching" for home business. Sounds a bit risky(?)
Regardless, I'll be there -- but with my eyes open.
(Always sound advise for any visit to the 'Pines when Carl is feeling frisky.)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!
Happy 90% Day!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!

Sounds wonderful, Crown! I hope I am not too late to join the celebrations at the 'Pines! I've been busy throughout the week, but knew I could not miss today's festivities. The homestretch has arrived. We have turned the corner and are sprinting towards the Christmas Season!

...It appears that the Blossoms thread is great evidence that the final sprint is in full force! I have not been able to contribute much in the past week or so. I am really looking forward to all that changing this weekend in Cornwall. It may be Thanksgiving, but there are still a few great spots for Christmas.

Good evening,

I have tried to get caught up tonight, but once again I am falling asleep.
I made a turkey breast and stuffing, etc.. for dinner tonight. It was tasty and a preview for Thanksgiving.

I am heading to bed.
Goodnight, everyone.
